Nice to have another attacking left footed LB in the squad.. Dalot showed his usefulness coming on in games as right mid to defend bettwr and counter when leading . This is something we lacked on left side and will allow us to be more compact and have 2 fast guys on the left late on in games. Will give Theo more license to blast forward late on which is he immensely godly at!!The importance of this cannot be understated tbh.

You got to give this guy some time before you judge him. He’s come in and played more than once in a different position than we want him to, and he hasn’t had lots of minutes in his legs. I’m not saying he even has enough to play back-up, but he needs time before we can say if he does. + He is replacing Theo who is extremely hard to replace.

Honestly if nothing else the kid has heart. He was running nonstop on the left. Needs some positional work similar to Theo but can be a good player in the future. I feel what he needs is most likely some consistent game time and he'll be good. You can tell he was nervous today.

Yeah, first half most of the team were bad but he was just shocking. Second half he seemed to find his feet when the rest of the team did. He's not Theo that can create by himself (yet) but positive that the performance improved.

He's done that interception quite often, sometimes resulting in a foul, but usually started a sudden transition.

Don’t think management ever expected him to at top of his game right away, it’s not been long yet

Rebic took so long to get going, Toure plays in defense too it’s quite different to France and he’s expected to fill in a tough role where pioli asks for plays like the one on the gif ala Theo
