This side would have won the scudetto if Bennacer was healthy and on form

So excited to have him back

indeed, it is also my belief.
4 & 79 in as a unit, in shape raise that team a few levels.
i said, more than RW, getting a 3rd (4th) DM in the summer would have paited a different picture.
but that's the past...looking forward to watching those gang bangs in the middle of the park.

"he was completely marked out of the game today" will be something we will hear regularly about some of the best CMs and CFs this season

Facts. Obviously only thing Abate was better at was pace

Thats abt it. Calabria is superior in everything else

People?s recency bias on here is insanely funny. 99% of the board wanted to run Calabria out town last year, and are now he is the greatest RB to ever play the game apparently.

Calabria had a great season and is a huge part of our future. But Abate was a key player and loyal servant of the club for many years. Very different players to compare.

Did he play before surgery?

Abate, De Sciglio, Darmian, Zaccardo played in Italy. Calabria doesn?t

Sooo Theo hasnt been called up for french nt team yet, does that make him shit?
lemme see which excuse you'll go with..im torn between "france are stacked at lb" and "deschamps is stupid"

Zvonimir Boban, one of the most important UEFA directors, expressed himself in La Gazzetta dello Sport on the Super League:

Boban is team Ceferin it seems.

Special shout-out to the "they want to make a business out of it" part. Wow. Just wow.

"They want to make a business out of it."

Sure, that's true. Better to run a business than a mafia though. Forgot to mention the part of UEFA officials and their bribes, doing what they want for money, not caring about the "sport" or the fans.

"Theo isn't good enough defensively." is my guess for 100 points.

No doubt, very boring choice of dream girl.

That...was....my point...sheesh.
But in terms of facial beauty (symmetry/bone structure) etc...she's prettier than Angelina. Only she'll be on top of you and you'll be dreaming about Angelina's scenes in Hackers/Girl Interrupted etc.

Come on man... I loved Abate but no way he is better than Cala.
But lets say that Cala is one season wonder still Abate never reached that high in his entire career.
So lets wait & see if Cala can continue like that.

Also all this talk about people wanted x player out insert Kessie/Cala/etc is really irrelevant.
When said both werent kicking ass so people werent wrong asking for more.

Of course. He works for UEFA now. He is of course against ESL. ESL undermines UEFA

It's weird, beegees seems to hate Friends with that comment but shares a lot in common with Chandler:

People wanted Calabria out because he wasnt good. Has a great season and still young, people want him to stay and believe he is possibly best RB in the league - dont see any issue there, thats how its supposed to work, new information and you process it and change opinion.

Abate served the club for a long time and gave his all, he had a few good games here and there but he was never that good of a player. Both can be true and I really dont see what recency bias has to do with it.

Abate was a milanista and gave his all, but he was still banter. Calabria already surpassed him and he has much room to grow.

Prime Abate?s pace, especially for his time, was quite something, canceled out a lot of pace based attackers.
He was also really great at first touches when receiving long balls. During Ibra?s first era long ball to Abate was half of our ball progression in the opposite third.

Imo if the team build would suite him, prime Abate could still be part of a really high quality team in todays football.

Abate was a donkey - whats with all this revisionist stuff. He was bad, really fast (not as fast as Theo though) but a headless chicken. They worked with him and his determination made him serviceable as a RB. There he had some good games through grit.

Yes he served the club well but its because we were without money.

I find ppl keep changing their opinions about stuff that they should know better about
Abate was a decent player and a good guy. He was usually decent but could be horrible

What you described was him for 6 months during our scudetto winning season. After that he was quite poor. Abysmal crosses, always out of position defending, can't link up, failed to overlap, and was one of our back pass merchants.
