#ACMilan have the ninth-highest points per game average (2.10) of any team in Europe's 'top five' leagues.

padre :star:

Yet we're out from europe competitions.

Since we're doing math.. before the emergencial pack's arrival, Marco Giampaolo had 7 games, lets be fair and put Pioli also with seven games(Pioli with 10 games ties up), guess who has the better average points per game?

That means we would be doing better with the emergencial pack + Giampaolo?

I think not.. i think without Ibra's arrival Pioli would be long gone, and with him, part of the board of directors including Gazidis.

Padre my ass.
White-shirted gentleman my ass.
Rather a stubborn and clueless piece of football coach.

Did Gazidis want Pioli or Spalletti? It?s escaping me at the moment

Your typical midtable coach.
How anyone can fanboy him is beyond me

All that he wanted so far was Rangnick, a fellow who had its work medured by how much money RB puts in their youth projects.

Gazidis should be long gone.

Our players don't know how to attack and how to defend

Blaming Pioli is madness

if he doesn't get 3pts next match we should consider a different coach to finish this season

The players are poorly trained.. with a little boost of enthusyasm brough by Ibra last year they were able to reach top... imagine what they could do with a coach with a plan.

Our defensive system as always a mess, the final touch extremely poor.. this is lack of training.

Every other team had problems with covid and injuries, we can't blame this.

Disgusting performances last few games and Pioli is mostly to blame for our players lack of sharpness and his poor strategy.

We seriously looked like a bunch of amateurs vs Lazio. He was outcoached by Inzaghi.

Renewing him was a mistake. We had a miracle 1st half of the season sponsored by Ibra but ever since the winter break he is out of ideas.

Did we renew already?

He means last season after our magnificent form when he was renewed before end of the 19/20 season rather than waiting until summer to make a decision. Looks like everything has caught up to the team and Pioli is not able to get the same cohesive and energetic team back. Injuries have certainly played a part on this which is not Pioli's fault, but at the same time his game management certainly has fallen off - Samp and Sass his subs were the reason we dropped points - and yesterday we had plenty of chances but are not clinical, while defensively are shaky. We've looked poor for a while now and this run of bad form comes at the worst time. We have to see him out for the season regardless, change now won't help. We can still reasonably secure CL if we beat one of Juve or Atalanta, and win the other three games. Also have to hope one of Juve/Atalanta/Napoli drop points elsewhere.

Really need to take stock in summer though and see if Pioli really is the way forward. I love him, he's been great for the team, but it's clear he is limited and when he's faced with this kind of challenge and the team has it's back to a wall mentally - it just doesn't work.

Like who? If these players reach 4th place is a miracle.

#10 doesn't know how to shot, our best CB has been rejected by Atalanta in 1 month or less, the most talented midfielder got relegated to Serie B with Empoli before joining Milan and the only striker who can score more than 10 goals is 40.

The coach is limited as Pingu said.

Now stop giving out stats and direct attention to the players.

This coach is limited that he is.

Defend him all day all you want.

He is still limited and must be responsible for the recent results.

I pity the fanboys/fangirls of this coach who are crying for stability. These fans just want to stick with one stable coach and succeed. Yeah this one is very stable. And also limited.

Go for him. Yay.

If the players are being lackluster and not playing up to their standard, who should be responsible? Their families, parents, wives or children? Who?

Stop giving out stats, fucking Barca-minded fantards. Who cares about stats? Give us the fucking POINTS.

I am so fed up with this soft and elegant piece of crap. If you wonder what kind of a coach that could actually achieve OBJECTIVES (yeah not fucking dominating stats), look at Thomas Tuchel. Players who do not have a problem with being yelled at and are cool with having to shit their pants to get things done on the pitch will grow under his guidance. Neymar's attitude completely changed for the better from his time working with Tuchel. Mbappe's talent was kept in check and developed properly and is now on his way to replace the best two footballers in the last decade. He will surely be one of the best in this decade.

These Milan players cannot get their heads straight and be focused on the season's objective which is securing a top 4 position. Then who the fuck is responsible for all this distraction in this fucking vital moment? You? Who? The fucking coach that is.

End of story, do not ever bring up the player quality issue again because it is lame as fuck.

Pioli putt all his chips in Ibrahimovic day after day(making the others almost taking note of that), that takes away the responsabilities from the squad.. when Pioli needed the squad, the guys didn't know how or what to deliver.
Thats why we watch such a disconected team.

Is something that Allegri or Conte for example would never do.

Didn't we have a bunch of games where we easily won without Ibra?

Allegri's Milan went from 3rd to 11th when El Sha and Pazzo got injured, and Flamini, Ambro and KPB were replaced by Kaka, Poli, Matri, Cristante and De Jong, who was like a new signing when he returned from the Achilles tendon injury.

But Allegri's the one who requested Matri. He could've made G extend with Ambro and Flamini. He could've switched to double pivot, since that was the only way to fit in both Monto and De Jong.
And, as bad as the injury situation was that season, it wasn't as bad as this season's.

They gave him 6 months to figure things out, but by January we were sitting at 11th. That's worse than the position Pippo left us in. Worse than the table positions that got Pioli fired at Fio, Inter and Lazio.

Can't believe how badly he has fucked up, after such a promising calendar year he has had. I wasn't expecting to win the league, but I never thought we would have to rely on luck to get into CL places.

ROFL this guy keeps bringing up dominating stats and complaining about squad quality at the same time.

Dominating/good stats AND terrible/not-top-4 quality squad. How the fuck is this possible?

Read that again stats-boy and stop slapping yourself in the face.

Is the white-shirted gentleman so good with his PS5 controller that he constantly produces decent match stats despite of his players' low quality? Damn he must be so good. And also limited to his PS5 console.

The team is capable of playing good football but we lack killing blows in vital moments. They players are capable of dominating opponents but we just cannot finish them off.

Now are you able, even just for a little bit, to look at the issue from a different angle?

How many serieA titles Allegri had won?

I told you the odds were coming for Pioli when we were 5 or 6 points ahead Inter.
