I was never against Kessie and I always thought he would turn into a world class player. Was wrong about a lot of things but never lost faith in the President.

But you’re right, we might have lost some late bloomers and bought a couple flash in the pans, but it still is a good way to evaluate players up close.

90% of Kessie skills at taking penalties is about making the goalkeeper go wrong, which is more important than the shooting skill

If you make the keeper choose a side or get him on the ground before you kick the ball it doesnt really matter where you place the ball or how hard you hit it. Presidente is king when it comes to penalites.

Pepe, and Materazzi are also of this nature. I don't know if either of them set out to try to damage ppl but I suspect Pepe for sure...especially on skilled opponents like Messi. Materazzi is a butcher who likes to get in your head....but I don't think even our boys hated him
