Interestingly, 3 of our ex-players who our now coaches will have a big say in our top 4 hopes: Pippo, Pirlo, and Gattuso.

If we don't win this CL will be gone.

It's now or never for Milan.

treating those games like finals is what made our players shit their pants

Playing without impetus and we got Spezia

The last three halves of football have demoralized this club. Big players need to step forward and if they cant then they need to go.

Every team that plays ac Milan now will smell blood. Benevento will be looking forward to this fixture as huge underdogs on paper.

Ac Milan on the other hand just wish the season would’ve ended last week

Really need to win this to keep the CL dream alive. These are the games when you would expect a reaction, where we win by 2-3 goals. In reality we'll struggle and scrape a win or worse draw.

who would you have leave? our entire team besides Kessie? lol

It does not make sense to pay Ibra big money if he is going to miss more than half a season
It does not make sense to pay Hakan big money if he is always inconsistent and really only gives you good corners and free kicks
It does not make sense to pay Theo big money if he is a liability always making the same mistakes and plays poorly against better opposition
It doesnt make sense to pay Romagnoli big money if he cant elevate the defense and is more a liability than an asset

Teams are made up of great players who make the magic happen and workers who 'carry the water'. We are continuously asking the water carriers to make wine because the magicians just arent up to the task.

We need players we can rely on to provide a certain level of quality consistently or we will never progress. These last games (imo) will reveal the makeup of players who should continue on as part of this project and who should be moved to acquire better fits for the squad.

Ibra is the reason we're even fighting for a CL place
It does not make sense to pay Hakan big money if he is always inconsistent and really only gives you good corners and free kicks
of course not, his form is so on off that giving him more than what he makes now is a stupid financial decision
It does not make sense to pay Theo big money if he is a liability always making the same mistakes and plays poorly against better opposition
has theo asked for a raise..?
It doesnt make sense to pay Romagnoli big money if he cant elevate the defense and is more a liability than an asset
not even putting the Raiola issue into factor, he constantly gets outplayed by strikers above his level, and often below. Oh, and the captain of AC Milan sadly

Teams are made up of great players who make the magic happen and workers who 'carry the water'. We are continuously asking the water carriers to make wine because the magicians just arent up to the task.
Love it or hate it, our team consists of young players, who are prone to make errors and break mentally. Saying "they should step up or fuck off" is nice in theory but not in reality. You either have star players and pay them a significant salary (more than what we can), or have a bunch of 'water carriers' that need to fit the system perfectly (Atalanta, this year's Manchester United). we have neither (Kessie and Bennacer being an exception, at least in the 1st half of the season).

We need players we can rely on to provide a certain level of quality consistently or we will never progress. These last games (imo) will reveal the makeup of players who should continue on as part of this project and who should be moved to acquire better fits for the squad.

again, either a significant sum or a perfect system

No game is easy for us. We've made that much clear. However, a win is very much needed in a week that we can expect our four CL spot rivals to win. Any of them dropping points will be much appreciated.

Benevento are feeling the pressure as they are in full battle for relegation. They are in a joint position with Cagliari and Torino. Ironically all teams we still have to play. This will give them extra motivation but it should not be an excuse, we must roll these teams up.

Atalanta and possible ladri could lose some points this week but it is of no use if we can't win our own matches. It has been a while that we had a great display. This is the perfect opportunity to start again. Zlatan and Roma are back, I hope that means we can score and keep a clean sheet for once.

Sky: Romagnoli will return to XI with one from Kjaer/Tomori. Leao LW - Rebic on the bench.

We need to give a strong performance in this one . We need to be ready for Juve. That will be the most important game of the season

Ibra will be 40 and after his great start what happened
- I have made my feelings on him clear in other threads

Hakan and Romagnoli aren't young and are rumoured to want big money while not being dependable.
Theo is young but needs to learn. He ahas been very good against lesser opposition but got destroyed in most of our big games. If that continues to be a trend then he is not one to build around / depend on.

I would part with Ibra if we miss CL and also look to move Romagnoli for sure.

This right here - a win by pk / own goal whatever - just get the 3pts
Winning out by any means is all that should be on everyone's mind.

CL and improve the squad in summer

Hell no. We are in this stupid mess cause we keep ignoring the damn issues.
We should only focus on open play goals.

You are right that one of the main reasons Milan is this mess is ?the fine as we are attitude? of the board, the other main reason being the monumental miss management of the funds we had available past 2007.

But at this point what Master Smurf is saying holds more importance than what has transpired already. We need 3 points each and every game till the end of the season, by whatever means necessary.

We can?t afford to try and fix things at the moment, we can only patch our way trough it, and hope like hell at least one of the other contestants for CL places fucks up as badly as we did, because just winning every game is sadly not enough at this point.

Forza Milan!

I'm pretty stoked to see Leao back at LW. Hope he is decisive tonight.
