Schick's goal is one of the best of this competition

I'm sad I didn't watch it live, but yesterday I saw 3 games of football, I need to recover

Lol @ the Swedish coach for subbing off Isak. He's been their only attacking threat this evening - very, very exciting player tbh

Spain play such low risk football it's ridiculous. Barely any dribbling, through ball or crossing. Just obvious pass after obvious pass

"death by passing" - commentator.

I am kind of rooting for Sweden to get something on the counter.

But they created many dangerous chances - if they could just shoot they couldve dropped 5 today. When they did hit the target most of the shots were right to the keeper (though some were pretty good saves)

Was a painful watch even for a Swede, despite the pretty nice result. Ridiculous 90 minutes.

I'm a bit split about it though. This is one of the most boring and confusing performances I've ever seen from our national team (and there is some historic competition, someone might remember a certain WC playoff..). But in the end, the 2(!) chances closest to generate a goal was actually Swedens. One of them an insane miss with an open net, the other one saved on the line and then bounced of the post.

So that also leaves the question: what the hell did Spain do here?

To rest him, but probably also because the only thing in the coaches sight by then was that clean sheet.

But yeah, everyone hates him for it. Its spectacular to see Isak play, and he has been that way for 2 years. But he is still very, very young (21) and he knows Spanish football in and out. So he had fun with the Spanish players, but its not certain he will perform like this the rest of the games. He deserved the chance to create a last minute miracle in this one.

Gerard Moreno reminds me of Pippo Inzaghi like no one else before

They wanna be like Wenger’s Arsenal and walk the ball into the net :)

Man, almost perfect referee. Penalty should not be given.
But overall euro referees has been good to perfect.
