Yes, there is no swap thing in football. A swap is: "You pay 20M (example), I pay 20M" unless they want to terminate players contract, but I doubt Milan will do this for Andre because we paid 38M and he still has a 2 year contract and the money from his sale should cover it.

Yeah I don't get people complaining about the state of the Azzurri. Not making the WC was almost solely down to the incompetence of Ventura. He was an awful coach who made terrible decision after terrible decision.

The midfield of this current team is extremely strong, the defense is nothing special by historic Italian standards, but considering the global state of defenders, their defense is still as good as virtually any other big team, and there are solid if not excellent options up top.

It's a solid team that can compete with anyone.

Its 37 degrees out here today. I told the world to f off and read a book and watched Milan analysis...

Tonali will be, if all goes well, a new modern Albertini. Very modern player, all round cm. Can play all. Agressive, smart, can pass. Not Pirlo, Pirlo is Pirlo...though we hate him Pirlo is one in 20 years.

But Tonali can be world class mid. Brilliant transfer.

Bentacur has been quite good, idk what you're talking about. And he is only 23, he should improve.

Arthur is a quality player and also young.

I also think people here are sleeping on how good Weston McKennie is, while is stat is not the most meaningful in a vacuum, out of all U-22 players in top 5 leagues, only Declan Rice recovered more balls per 90 (for context, Tonali was 6th, and Locatelli was 8th). I'm not saying he'll be a world beater, but he will give them some quality ability to win the ball ball back and free up the rest of the midfield.

We'll see if Rabiot and Ramsey play, and while they are overpaid, they are solid players.

If these deals are closed out, we'll have the best midfield in Italy.

That depth will be huge in us competing on all fronts.

Now we just need upgrades at RB and RW (and ideally backups at CB and CF) and we'll be competitive with anyone

He was pretty poor for them after restart, especially defensively

Juve fans will be the first ones to tell you they need to improve the midfield
