He has coached Catania, just like Simeone and Montella. I think all of them grew there, as coaches.

But I'm not sure he did a fine job anywhere.

He's open for double pivot systems, which is a good thing because if we're gonna continue with Bolis and Noces in the midfield and keep our trillion CAMs/wingers then that's our only chance for a Top 3 or 5 spot.

He has balls and is hot-headed, but the same applies to Gattuso. I'm not convinced at all that he's the guy to solve our fitness/workrate issues.

I think he's very similar to Seedorf.
I hope he doesn't piss off Silvio already in his first month.

He's gonna get fired before the first game.

its this false alphaness i hate about sinisa. he always did it as a player, there were a lot of defenders back in the 90s and 00s who lived up to their tough guy image. the idea that he's gonna roll in here and shout at everyone till they do what he wants is absurd. Im a teacher, I can tell you first hand it doesn't work like that. Carlo didn't need to do it, most of the great managers didn't.

Capello, Sacchi?

I for one thinks this kind of coach is needed right now in Milan. Don't compare your students to overpaid and spoiled football players who are worshiped by kids around the world. Totally different dynamic.

The cultural problem isn't the coach though... he can be a tough guy or he can be their friend... In the end, it's the horrible management that sets the rules.

If there was fight between Seedorf and the squad, then there will be definitely disaster with Sinisa because he is very similar to Seedorf, probably much more crazier then him.
Maybe he is solid coach (actually i think he is bad, but ok, i will give him a little chance, i'm not asshole:o ), but when there is no good atmosphere between players and coach, it's always bad sign. And thats why I'm expecting another disaster season, it just won't work.

Yeah, let's pretend like there's no correlation between coaching poor sides fighting to stay in Serie A and win %

 ignore the kids who keep harping on about win %

We could use some Yugoslavic power in Milan.

Indeed. No nonsense bs.

wasn't he a freekick specialist?

Serie A's Greatest.

I preferred Donadoni

Me too... but I'm not going to begrudge Sinisa getting a crack.

Get us back where we belong, Sinisa. That's the first step.

Not a fan of Mihajlovic based on his past and his declarations, we could have done better and we definitely could have done worse. As a coach, he doesn't like primadonna-s (see Eto'o), so I expect the same to happen with Menez.

That said, when he comes I'll sustain him as long as he doesn't fuck up. Right now more than anything else, this team needs to find an identity, build a foundation and strengthen it.

You can forget big name signings with this guy..

Hope he makes the team less lazy at least, most of our squad looks completely lethargic.

I don't want any Sampdoria players here though.

Did you watch Sampdoria play at all this year? Or are you making that statement just because they are not a big name club to you like Barcelona, Madrid, or Bayern Munich?

Eder, Obiang, Soriano, Romagnoli, and Duncan all had seasons better than most of the fodder on Milan. They all would have started for Milan this year, and they all would have stood out as one of our better players.

Maybe that is more of a statement on how sad Milan has been, but the reality is we are not going to lure high-wage players from top clubs. And another reality is that there are some very good players on smaller clubs in Serie A, including some who can help Milan (Soriano)
