Just watched the game and thought he played pretty well. Looked nervous off the ball for a little bit but after a couple of minutes he had settled down and looking fine. On the ball he did fine. Nothing spectacular, but did well keeping possession and pushed forward a couple of times.

If everything I've heard about his character is true I could see him being an important player in the future based on his leadership abilities. I don't think he'll ever be your special creative mid, but could do well in a Gattuso-esque roll.

He showed good confidence, roaming around always making himself available

He was everywhere seemingly from RW to LW to CM. Mexes applauding and encouraging him when he took a shot was great to see.

I don't see a future for him at Milan, sadly. People don't have patience to develop youngsters these days, specially in Italy. They expect players to have an instant impact in the first team.

our midfield should have been mastalli-mauri-berto
