As things stand, we'll make Pot 1 for next season if the following happens -

A maximum of 2 between Chelsea, Arsenal, Inter and Lyon qualify for CL.

Barca, Man Utd, Bayern, Madrid and Porto are the teams ahead of us in the co-efficient list that have already qualified. So if 3 more of those teams I mentioned before qualifies, Pot 1 spots are all filled.

So we must root for Spurs, Newcastle, Lille, and as always against Inter for the remaining matches. I see a good chance of Pot 1 as Lyon and Inter look very unlikely to qualify. I also think 1 of Chelsea or Arsenal will miss out.

We have another danger with Valencia. They are behind us in co-eff now, but if they win the 2nd leg semi and maybe the final, they could get ahead of us.

pot 1 would be sweet, and it's possible because lyon and inter are crap.

Valencia got pwned 4-2 last night, I think they're most likely going to get knocked out of the EL semis.

Even a single win could bump up their co-eff to above ours. So even if they win at home and still get knocked-out, that could work against us.

milan will be in 1st pot if these requirements are met :

a. lyon don't qualify for next season ucl
b. merda don't qualify for next season ucl

or
a. either lyon or merda don't qualify for next season ucl
b. chelsea don't qualify for next season ucl (either from 4th spot or ucl winner)

arsenal failed to qualify for next ucl will also help + lyon/merda/chelsea

as addition :

if either valencia/atletico madrid win europa league, it could make milan stay in 2nd pot :(

for atletico case, they have to qualify for ucl first

Juve will be in pot 3. will be glad to see what a couple of games with Madrid and Dortmund can do to their Serie A campaign.

It will be so fucking unfair for us to be in 2nd pot.

But form the looks of it I think we'll probably end up in first pot.

Well I think we should worry about Att. Madrid more, they are 6 points away from CL in Liga and in my opinion have the best chance to win the EL.

And Juve needs 18 of teams above them to not qualify for Cl in order to be in 3rd pot, and that can happen if only one of Roma, Inter, Lyon, PSV, DKV (Sheva's team), Twente fail to qualify, which is a given since Roma-Inter and PSV-Twente are fighting for the same spot, so juve will def. be in the third pot.

didn't realize that. Good information. I guess I will have to root for Bayern in the CL final and Atlético tomorrow in EL semi.

If bayern win then we will lose more coefficient points far out. Besides, italian teams dont seem to care about europa league like they used to anymore, which really sucksa cuz germany gains a lot of points by winning games in that competition. Now, if bayern win the UCl we would be in an unpleasant predicament. Then, you have chelsea, whom i would prefer to win this UCl final but the problem is that they are an english club. Its annoying how they do fuck all season and now they stunned everyone by reaching the final. For me i will be forcing myself to root for chelsea in this game. But, i am still wondering why milan dint use the same tactics like what chelsea used against shitcelona, we would have certainly beaten chelsea and then fluke a one off win against bayern.

Valencia lost today, so that does it mean that we are at least one team safer?

Inter, Chelsea, Lyon, A.Madrid, Liverpool

we can afford only one of above teams to qualify.

Liverpool is out, Lyon is pretty much out out thanks to Careltto's team choking tonight, unless Lille chokes big time.

A.Madrid is out too, unless Malaga and Levante both get worse results, which doesn't seem likely.

Chelsea and Inter have a good chance, but we can afford only one of them. so If Inter qualifies, then we have to wish Bayern and Tottenham good luck.

So we just have to beat Inter in a week and everything is fine.

Sounds good to me. Win against merda+ Napoli won't let the third CL spot go. Pot 1 is waiting :g:

yess we're 1 team safer :D

3 Chelsea
6 Arsenal
7 Inter
9 Atlético
10 Lyon
11 Liverpool

4 of these teams have to fail, atm we're stil good

- Chelsea could win the CL and is still in the race for the 3rd or 4nd spot
- Arsenal probably won't lose their 3rd spot
- Inter getting closer to 3rd place
- Atlético, it's still possible but very unlikely
- Lyon, the same story as Atlético, possible but unlikely
- Liverpool are official out of the race

So it's up to Chelsea or Inter to not make the CL

How about, in the most optimistic of situations, Arsenal fourth, Chelsea CL, but 5th? That'll be awesome.

Arsenal 3-3 Norwich City. :)

Tottenham now has the chance to leapfrog and reclaim the #3 spot. :D :D

Atlético could surpass Malaga in La Liga. Hopefully Malaga would win their final game next weekend.

Lyon's out. As long as Malaga and Udinese do their bit, we are Pot 1.
