We meet again, fellow masochists

:monto:

Last time out...

Leao went off injured after 10 minutes, Reindeer finally scored his first goal, the 5-0-5 begins to take shape, Musah came on and went from looking like Maldini to Mesbah in 10 minutes while playing as a defender, midfielder, and winger all in the same game, we blow a two goal lead (and prolly should have lost), and Giroud gets sent off at the death. Fiesta #OptaPoop

Looking back, I'm fairly certain that I called for Pioli's head after this game. It was easily the most infuriating game I had ever watched in my life under him and gave me banter flashbacks.

Fast forward 6 months and Pioli is set to stay another year and see out his contract...

:sipioli:

Now personally, I fucking hate Lecce. I was born and raised watching the Boateng and Yepes monster dicking of these pizza toppings lookin ass clowns. Just win, you idiots.

Anyway...

Theo returns, but Big Cheeks is suspended on yellow card accumulation.

Sky thinks we might play a 4-3-3, with a midfield of Musah - Adli - Bennacer. I'll update this as we learn more of Pioli's grand masterminded plans.

Forza Meelan 🔴⚫

We need to rotate a lot. Roma match infinitely more important.

Mike
Calabria, Gabbia, Tomori, Florenzi
Adli Musah Bennacer
Chuk Jovic Leao

Theo Reijnders Pulisic Giroud have played a lot also during international break. I think a longer break would set em up nicely for the finish of the season. They will be crucial vs Roma

Pls give Chukwueze a chance again to build his confidence!!

Will prolly be that lineup, but with Adli instead of Bennacer, and Gabbia for Thiaw. Apparently Thiaw has some plantar fasciitis (which absolutely sucks).

My brain explodes trying to figure out times with day light savings time. If I got the time wrong, feel free to @ me and I'll fix. Pretty sure I got it right.

Giroud should play only EL matches

I would have liked to see Camarda

Adli will start and Puli will be the AM.

Calabria and Theo do not need to press high this match. Rather play alongside Gabbia-Tomori and just try not to concede. The back four really need to sit low this match because counter-attacks will be the only option for Lecce. I know Theo is all about his attacking power but I really want to see him put in a good defensive shift this match. If he is able to tame his ego and does what is needed for the team he would reach complete maturity in his position and ready to move on to Bayern Munich.

With Leao-Puli-Chuk up front and backed by Adli-Tijji we should just play down the middle corridor. Musah can come in and replace Adli when we have the lead.

And please no 4-3-3. There are no need for radical changes in formations and players for just for one match against Lecce. I swear if we put in an extra midfielder because we are missing our starting AM and CB, I will lose my shit before that match starts. The players are comfortable with 4-2-3-1 so please keep it that way.

Thinking throwing bodies in the midfield will give you a stronger defensive game is completely naive. Before you obtain solidity in the midfield it will first be wrecked by CONFUSION. So please no 4-3-3.

The only problem is the CF position. But he is regarded as a god here and he is leaving in the summer anyways so I will not mention his name.

Forza Milan.

Today's a good day... Early kick off means me and the wee guy can enjoy another Milan win, before catching a quick fought down to London so we can enjoy Legoland tomorrow.

We're winning by 2 clear goals, save this post!!!

I am at the hotel where players were and they just all left but Pulisic and Chuku were not there everyone but those two got on the bus together to San Siro, probably going by them selves somehow I found it strange tbh.

5-0-5 incoming?
Adli and Reijnders are terrible at defending.

quite an attacking line up

will be interesting to see if we can keep the ball and win it in the midfield

If Pulisic does well at CAM, Loftus could be dropped deeper or sub

Depending on Chuk and Pulisic
