Well I didn,t see Gila playing so much, but i have seen Torres for a long time and I am sure he is not the player Milan is looking for right now, he has potential, that is true, but till now he is only the favourite kid for the press here in Spain, he is just fast and able to use their both legs and his head but nothing else, some point quite similar to JDT, Milan has to buy players ready to add something to the team and he is not this player, I would go for sure to take Gila that is a proven scorer in Serie A or for a Superb striker like Henry, Van Nistelroy or Ronaldo.

what you say will be good "If Torres reaches his potential"... well dude... "if torres doesnt reach his potential" whats gonna happen to all the money we spent that we could have spent on gilardinho or cassano...
Try to understand what im saying.

Torres is currently a very good player. Id say more so than Gil. If we were to take him now we'd have one of the worlds best strikers at the club.

If he was to achive his full potential we'd have prolly a top 5 striker in world football at the club. Curretnly however he is still a star. Better than Cassano and Gil, imo.

as for cassano's attitude... well i think he is slowly maturing... give time and he will calm down and come to his senses... and which player wont get worked up if the club has lost its main driving force(capello) and falling apart...

I reckon Cassano has and always had a terrible attitude. I dont see any sign of maturity and i dont want him, nor Totti at the club. If you cannot have a good attitude under Capello, one of the worlds best coaches i doubt he'd be any better here.

then again about gilardinho... well u think he might not be as the same class.. well frankly speaking he has and been scoring goals... and the reason why im so impress with him, is simply because he can score goals for parma who isnt doing well at all...

what u say might be true... he may be not as the same class as cassano and zlatan... but he is well ahead better compared to trez and inzaghi... whom serves well than cassano and zlatan... and are doing so well with juventus and us milan (except the fact that they are both injured at present)...
I doubt Gil. will ever have the talent the likes of Zalten posses. However, i agree. He is a very good player and does put the goals away. Id love to have him at the club. He is an upgrade on Pippo in every repsect. However, id prefer Torres.

Ill try again.

Nedved?
Gattuso?
Dida?
Bojinov?

Just because a player doesn't have a chance to prove himself in Seria A before comming to the club dosn't mean he shouldn't be bought.

I think Torres has alot more ability than you say.

Gil. is nothing like VNR, Ronaldo or Henry...

Torres is a big hype too. I don't get to see much Spanish league anymore but I monitored him during EURO2004. And I'd rather Milan spend their transfer budget or part of it domestically. Cassano + Gila are just as good if not better than Torres + their familiarity with Serie A is a bonus that shouldn't be underestimated.

It now seems just a question of when Santiago Solari will become a Milan player.
The Argentine has little intention of renewing his contract at the Bernabeu, where he has had limited playing time this season.

He could join the Rossoneri in January, although the more likely alternative is that he will make the move for free in June when his contract expires.

WTF!?

Barça are trying to get Saviola back. [that's from the french press which is highly more credible that that goal.com sh*t]

Joan Laporta + staff aren't dumb enough to bring an horribly off-form striker (JDT) in the squad...

i agree, but it only applies in the spanish league, but gilardinho is in the italian league... these are two different world and setting… one is the flarish approach and the other one is tactical approach… and currently gilardinho is scoring for parma of all clubs who are struggling... plus thats what they used to say with jose mari, but what happen in the end???

the question here is "if"??? will that "if" happen first of all?? and secondly... will that "if" happen in italian serie-a??? had enough of Spanish players!!!

As for cassano, I believe he can change… but if u think other wise, then I cant say much because its your opinion…

Well about Zlatan, I have no questions about him, he is good… but then again he is already playing with a strong squad, but gilardinho isn’t… so just imagine if he would to play in a strong squad like Milan…. And yes gilardinho is an upgrade of inzaghi… no doubt about it…

And just like you, I prefer gilardinho… over torres!!! but loved to have cassano in the squad...

Serginho on way to Parma

AC Milan veteran striker Serginho is set to sign with Parma.

The 33 year-old Brazilian will join Parma on a free transfer as part of a deal which will see Alberto Gilardino move in the opposite direction.

Olympiakos and Paris Saint Germain were chasing Serginho, but Parma chief Arrigo Sacchi's relationship with Milan clinched the deal.

Hopefully we can sign a replacement for the left wing, perhaps Taddei from Siena, so Seedorf actually gets a bit of competition for his left midfield role.
