So sad to see him go . I'll be buying an away Nesta shirt from this year for his final season.

If he does go somewhere, I kind of hope he does go to NYRB - I'll go to the stadium to watch them every week if that is the case.

amidst all the sadness, this i did not understand. So he no longer feels important at milan? or does he foresee this happening? is it staff that makes him feel this way? or does he believe that he has become too old to be important in games? I feel that he still wants to play football and I'm happy for whatever decision he makes that makes him happy. many of us think of him as irreplacable. he is more than just important. Thank you Alessandro. No more could we have asked of you over the course of 10 years of a beautiful man playing the beautiful game in legendary fashion.

Imagine that we saw the best two defenders in the world play together at the same time at milan, Maldini and Nesta.. miss those days so much.

Of all the senatores, i did think that Nesta would stay, because he was so good this season, i think he had it in him. I hope none of the others stays now, because that would be strange..
