What do you guys think - is this a good PR plug for a sponsor or is getting the club Audi really something that strikes out in being Milan? (Especially for 20 year olds ... ronaldinhos obv wouldn't be too bothered about that, while mesbahs might cling on to their Audi.

Solid game, though one 25 million defender is not going to fix our defense problems.
If our goal was to invest for the future, than so far seems a good buy ... if our goal was to fix our defense, we still have many issues.

Closing down the massive opening that would have been there had Guarin not shot himself. Such is in zone marketing instead of man marking.

But there was no one in that opening and if Guarin had tried to move there he would have screwed himself over because he would've been going away from goal.

When Romagnoli moved Guarin just took another step and scored the goal. If Romagnoli stays, it's an easy block, but he moved out of the way freeing up space.

Easy to point out individual's mistakes after the fact, but for a young CB, I'd have to say his performances have been pretty satisfactory to say the least. I am hoping he develops and leads our defense for years to come.

Yeah, that's the thing with young players, they make mistakes.

and of the day I am happy to see this kid starting and learning. Typical Milan would have with Mexes/Alex and Zapata start.

He wasnt great nor class against Inter. If anything, he was average, showed signs of talent though.

A performance where he and Zapata let Guarin have 2 open headers and an open goal must not be considered a positive performance. Icardi had chances too.

I dont understand the "best of his age" hype too. Varane, Marquinhos and Gimenez looked much better at his age or even younger.

Time is on his side but right now, it doesnt look good for him. Our system and pressure surely dont help either.

Thiago Silva made mistakes when he arrived and he played with NESTA.

Romagnoli needs a great CB next to him. I hope Milan wont ruin this talent ALSO. Coz he has some serious talent and some serious work to do also.
