Yea, no. I prefer something lighter nowadays. I enjoyed an episode a (work) day of Clarkson's Farm. Easy to watch and very entertaining. It might be out of your genre but give it a try.

The golden hour is rather disappointing about a well integrated Afghan cop who has to investigate his friends from childhood for ‘you guessed it ‘… terrorism


Everytime I see an European show I am baffled at number of police cars responding after a major incident I promise there are more police cars escorting a football team to a stadium in a university town in America.

You know which show was trending really well but got shafted and spoiled the end of its first season - The Peripheral

Show started really well with a cool concept, believable characters and then Amazon screwed it. If they gave it a quarter of the budget they gave the LotR series it couldve been a really good show. The 'VR' in that show leads to the future, I guess it leads to the alien world in this how?

Lotr spend billion plus because Bezos read hobbit when he was a kid and he wanted to get into Hollywood. No comparison, it was an aberration a vanity project.

God it was awful except the cinematography after every other uhd episode I had to call broad band man in india to extend the monthly data limit.

Should organize to watch other episodes in friends home cinema, eh? This really a big picture piece?

First episode at times is a bit confusing. Especially with air combat gear but confident show will make you rewatch, so heres hoping its special.

Tokyo Vice man. It’s so good, I got hooked because Michael Mann who directed movie heat directed the premiere.

Second season is also very good

Meanwhile, not into Elvisboy. People saying the role came too close to Elvis movie but feel its sth else for me. Feels unconvincing. Dont remember being in awe for his Elvis either.

I'm watching Drops of God because @omer486 recommended it and I have to say I am enjoying it - the themes and how much of the dialogue plays out naturally with the quirky scenes that are probably lifted from the Anime. great change of pace show.

I'm watching Drops of God because @omer486 recommended it and I have to say I am enjoying it - the themes and how much of the dialogue plays out naturally with the quirky scenes that are probably lifted from the Anime. great change of pace show.

I heard about it and reviews were good but wine mogul is not what I can pick up when I have so many shows in pipeline in all languages.

Subtitles are amazing it’s like transporter you can watch any show on this planet

Loved watching the FBI universe as nice easy fun but dropped the original after they made the white girl more of the lead and started giving OA 'issues'
FBI International was going great and now at the start of season 3 they promptly make the only black guy lose his leg/foot

Tokyo Vice is pretty good but don't really like the white avatars the show uses - that is so last century, geez.
That said they did well to take the show more off the beaten path in some instances and like they didn't let Snow White and Prince Charming MarySue the entire show.

It seems like there's actually less of that happening now, isn't it? I mean, in many new shows and movies, the main characters are becoming more diverse, aren't they?

I agree that there is less overall so when I see established shows doing it (when they didn't start that way) it's more disappointing.

I am not a woke warrior - I have no issue with an all white cast. I welcome the diversity we have now but when it's some of these moves including diversity for diversity sake it just rubs me wrong.

FBI International started with two white agents and two agents of colour. The black guy Raines was the younger agent emerging under the guidance of the lead agent - no issue whatsoever with this.

The end of last season they introduce the white bad boy type agent and at the start of this season they hobble Raines on what I expect is to now play up this new character with scenes that would've gone to the Raines character in the past.

I just turned it off and don't plan to watch anymore. I have seen enough of that stereotype over the decades. There is much more stuff to watch.
