Skipping slavic accent really helped, it's just parody when they go for Russian accents. English didn't bother me a bit (thanks to non-yankee accents/casting?), even with Russian announcements and poems that could've broken the rythm.

But the CP5 series hype looks good too ... series can unveil different layers.

The actor that played Korey Wise did an amazing job.
His acting makes you really feel for him. I just felt sad and angry during the whole episode for what he went through. It's the best episode by far.
The series is definitely worth a watch, but the hype is a bit unjustified imo.

Just finished binge watching The end of the fucking world season 2.

Spoiler:

Fucking aces of a show, even better than the first season. The last episode gave me a sense of real dread when they implied that Alyssa was gonna kill herself, well done. Think the last time a tv show gave me a bit of anxiety is the first season of GOT with Ned's execution.

Watch Succession. It's fantastic. If you like dark humour and dysfunctional lives.

After one scene I said out loud: "bye-bye, fuckity bye!" and after learned the showrunner was connected to The Thick of It. The show really needs Malcolm give a bollocking to someone on the background during one of their England trips.

Squid game is garbage. Cheap meme bait. Dont believe the hype. David and dan sigh of relief when squidgame wheel off its vip's as it exposes the viewers to worse dialogue than sand snakes. And the whole series isnt anything more special. Cant fanthom how so many tasteful people have taken the bait. I guess asian cinema victories and a will to be on the forefront has taken its toll. This shit probably worse than hunger games. Doesnt deserve a mention next to Battle Royale or Running Man.

Chestnutman started off really well. The end was a bit of let down but overall still enjoyable experience. It mixes the Hannibal vibe/scenery with True Detective ride/scenario. Short of both aformentioned but close enough to recommend to people who liked them. (they did dirty to papa Hauge, tho)
