You are from Morocco?
Yep, but I live in Canada. I am rooting for Jordan, let's goooo!
I have one Jordanian friend, but he is not into football

Not at all.I always had the impression that the Chinese are not good in team sports , they're much better as individuals, which is strange to me considering the size of their population you'd think they would work well together
This one was doubly painful for me as well. When Italy went out vs S. Korea I cried so much, I watched the match in a bar and it was daytime and I couldn't show my face because of the tears and my friends told me there was a really hot girl who tried to console me but I never figured out how she looked like
That game was fixedThat Italian team was ridiculous. Del Piero, Totti, and Vieri…I mean…
You have another one here on this forumYep, but I live in Canada. I am rooting for Jordan, let's goooo!

I was also thinking of something related to the one child policy and the competition that ensues between children as a result. Not at all.
Bc of the large population there’s huge competition for everything. Kids aren’t really taught how to collaborate in school. Sport teams are kids selected based on genetics and not actual talent or affinity for the sport.
That plus the corruption at the top.
To be honest the S. Korea match vs Spain was even worseThat game was fixed
Don’t give a fuck what nobody says
I agree that the red card was harsh but I think that Jordan was slightly better overall, we were better in the first half while Iraq clawed their way back (as they usually do thanks to their gritty character) but Jordan kept their cool and were patient and found a way to equalise at the death. The winning goal was bad build up from Iraq and great execution by Nizar such a perfect shotVery harsh on Iraq, Aymen's celebration was normal but I can see how the ref saw it as exaggerated, really unfortunate.
That said, well taken goals by jordan and I'm happy for them! They used the extra man advantage perfectly.
Some of their fans can be insufferable at times but their team is quality, I'd put them above Qatar in this cup and close to the big 5, which is why this win is so important for Jordan.Actually this is such an important win for Jordanian football we usually have a lot of difficulty versus Iraq , they have this sense of superiority over us (and many others like us) so traditionally we can defeat big Asian teams like Japan, "Australia", Iran, Korea, Saudi but when it comes to Iraq they are tough as nails and they always have a strong support. They remind me a little bit of Juve, they don't play pretty but they are gritty and physical.
But thankfully we have very talented players and a very good coach. We have Mousa Altaamari and with his strong character we managed to overcome Iraq.
