Spot on! I knew from a couple of minutes in we were getting nothing from that egomaniacal freak. Referees are dangerous. Why there was no help from VAR on anything also is mind boggling

Leverkusen are a really good team. Playing at home. We did well enough to limit them. Boniface walked all over Emerson, that was mostly how they found so many good chances. Other than that we did really well. After they scored we decided to take more risks and should have got one. The ref decided the big moments of the game. It could have went either way in the end, but we got unlucky and unfairly treated in the second half.

Overall Leverkusen did enough to deserve a win i think, but I think we showed a lot of improvement over the Liverpool game.

It was disappointing. Our defense was trash and the opponent created way too many goal scoring chances.

Best match for Fofana so far. Amazing performance.

Yes, we missed several good scoring opportunities.

Yes, the ref was a fucking asshole.

And also yes, Mike saved us from going down 0-2 or even 0-3 in the first half. Leverkusen imposed the game on us for an hour and the scoring opportunities came FIRST and they also scored FIRST.

When you see the goalkeeper on the defeated side got MOTM, you know pretty well that the winning side deserved the W.
