When Newcastle fans are over the moon with a draw and our members are pissed, you have to start accepting that we were and are the better team

Many positives from this match despite the result

- good showing from the bench players.
- Musah was energetic
- Sportiello looked good with a nice save and good clearances. He seems more reassuring than Tatarusanu.
- Florenzi delivered some good crosses and was lively.
- good performance from Pobega, he was involved in defence and attack. I think it would have been better to start him vs Inter for a very physical midfield.
- I am happy with Chuk's performance, seems like he is gradually displaying his qualities.
- good defensive performance especially with the CBs, although they didn't endure the same pressure as vs Inter.

Some negatives:
- poor finishing. The players lacked composure and seemed to rush their shots.
- we lacked the final "set up" pass . The decision making in the final third wasn't the best despite the good efforts.
- injuries to key players. Pioli seems unable to assess their fatigue levels and make the right substitutions.
- you can sense that we are an injury or two away from getting into trouble, especially in defence where there is not much depth.

Just caught up with the game, superb performance but given the UCL group stage spans over six games, 3 points would be worth gold. This result feels like 0-0 vs Genoa or a team like that at home.

Very bitter we couldn’t get the win after that performance. I put it down only to lack of confidence, tiredness and poor finishing. Not impressed by Newcastle whatsoever and expect us to beat them away on the counter. Just a difficult stuffy team who are physical and throw bodies, a bit like playing a lower Serie A side

I almost feel like Leao is my son. I just want to throw a boot at his face and then take him for drinks when I cool down. He has the fuckin world at his feet and he doesn't make the best use of it.

Mourinho/ Capello would have had him in double digit goals by now

He has improved a lot and is taking lot of responsibilities since the last half of scudetto season but he needs to finish these games, too vital for us.

We need another striker Leao is very good player but he is not shevchenko.

We need cold blooded killer.
Berlusconi gave us Guillit and Marco van basten americans gave us two billiard balls :o

No coach is going to rest the GK and with Reijnders being the player who always runs the most it makes sense to rest him first, resting both CMs is a bit much for a CL game. Not really something the staff is at fault for imo.

What differentiates Messi and CR from the rest of the pack (even Neymar) is that they do the business.
That business is the shit goals, the easy tap ins, the hard shot when you're close by
Ppl talk about and remember the spectacular goals/ moves but these are just the icing.
The cake is the "regular" goals and assists.

Leao needs more cake (no homo)

Of course of course.

He is very attacking and is decent at finishing for a winger and improved tremendously. He looks for giroud a lot.

He is not a professional hitman.
Messi and Cr7 piled up so many goals I was disgusted at the sport. They are in a different league. I would love to have Kaka;s finishing which was so insane.

I see so much improvement from Rafael but choking in cl makes me mad thats the only tournament that matters. FUCKCKCKCKCKFKFKC

He'll come good eventually
But fuck me it's frustrating getting there
I only hope we at least get one full peak Leao before he fucks off to Madrid

Whatever you say we milked sheva and Kaka before getting a mountain of cash. They are saints in my book

Krunic has been fantastic this evening.
krunic is shit. he needs to be booted out along with calabria. no matter what he does in the odd game. he is not meant to play for milan as a starter.

Don't worry guys, when you play well, but you lose in the CL, you get extra credit. Ask Inter fans.
I'm confused, are you saying City is as shit as Newcastle or that Newcastle is as good as City?

Newcastle forum:

Milan very rapid on the attack. They're cutting through us better than anyone I've seen us play competitively since Howe's first half season. Some great movement from Theo and Leao, a level above what we normally play.

The difference in left backs is hilarious.

The difference in quality….
:anguish:

Really can't believe this is the same Milan that getting battered by Inter 5-1. they play with such fluidity

“Nothing between the two teams”. Is Hoddle on crack?

No idea how this is still 0-0, they're all over us

Should be 2-0 now.

I think there’s something here for us and we’ve had a lot of the ball. They’ve just got a lot more class all over, playing faster in the transition with more quality

lads it turns out last season's semi finalists ac milan might be quite good. Yes we are struggling but this wasn't going to be a walkover lol

This is really the next level, man. Fucking hell

Have to say it's been a while since I've had this "away to Man City and holding on for dear life" feeling.

Jesus, Milan could be 3-0 up already

How is this the same sport as that Brentford game?
This only ads fuel to the fire.

How many times last season have we seen milan create chances and not be able to finish.

I am sick of seeing same old problems on repeat.
