Napoli is a very good team and can give a very solid performance
but have they ever been under that kind of pressure? losing 0-4 to Milan then 0-1 again and turning this game into a war?
this needs personality, i don't think they have that not yet anyway
i remember years back when the won 3-1 against Chelsea but Chelsea changed their coach and went through in the second leg probably won 4-1 maybe extra time
Napoli have been praised a lot this season and suddenly 0-4 and 0-1 to the same team that suffered a lot
however if they scored early by anyway, they could be more confident
the longer they wait for their first goal, the more pressure they can't handle.

Will be a massive embarrassment if we crash out against these clowns. Imagine a seven time CL winner getting their ass handed by a team that is in the QF the first time :fp:

From the first game of the season against Udinese, watched it again just to look at Rebic's movement to make a video about attacking movements to break the opponent's defense
CDK made a good pass to Giroud and he is pretty good at passing and there is another one that was better by Saele but was too long for Origi later
but how many times could he make passes like this? does the situation happen often and CDK doesn't pass or is the problem that it doesn't happen often until he lost his confidence?
regardless, he should be iced out in order not to lose any more confidence and the team won't benefit from him right now anyway

Soon coach Stefano Pioli will speak from the press room of the "Diego Armando Maradona" stadium to present tomorrow night's Champions League match against Napoli in a conference. The first leg at San Siro ended 1-0, a match decided by Bennacer's goal. Stay with us to follow all the statements of the Rossoneri coach.

- The press conference begins.

On penalties and Maignan as a possible taker: "We tried them as always before matches in this competition. And I didn't think where to put Maignan."

What match are you expecting? "Both teams had their chances to score, the winner is whoever makes the most of the chances they create. Napoli got off to a much better start than us in Milan and there must be lessons for us."

Would you trade fourth place for the Champions League final? "We are here to play for the Champions League, one match at a time. It would be a very important path. It is a path born three years ago, we are only focused on this match. Evaluations are given at the end".

Are the two teams physically ready? "Both teams will be ready. A very delicate but stimulating game. Both teams have the qualities to win the game."

On Maradona: "I think it's nice to play matches of this level for the atmosphere in the stadium. He will certainly charge the Napoli players but he will also charge ours. We start at the same level, we have a very small advantage but we have to complete the operates by playing a game of the highest level".

What does the presence of Osimhen change for you? "We always take into great consideration the characteristics of our opponents, especially those of such a powerful and present opponent. However, we have our own way of playing to carry on. The matches we have recently played against Napoli have also been matches to know how to read, inside the race you have to know how to dictate the pace, slow down, accelerate and read the moments well".

On Brahim Diaz: "I think it's clear to everyone that he's growing a lot. He's a young boy but he has a lot of personality, he's a boy who likes being under pressure and knows how to handle it well. He's growing a lot, he's becoming a footballer of absolute level. Of course I would like to train him again".

Will it make changes? "Tomorrow will be the third match we will play in a few days, and both we and they have interpreted situations differently. There will certainly be some different attitudes tomorrow as well. Napoli of the Champions League in Milan was different in some offensive and defensive attitudes compared to the match of the championship. Tomorrow it could be that there could be something different, whether it's players or positions".

On Giroud and Napoli's physicality: "Giroud is fine. He had a small problem which he has overcome in recent days, we have managed it well in recent days and he is ready to play. I don't know what choices Spalletti will make to replace Anguissa, we'll see tomorrow night".

Simon Kjaer will shortly speak from the press room of the "Diego Armando Maradona" stadium to present tomorrow night's Champions League match against Napoli in a conference. Stay with us to follow all the declarations of the AC Milan defender.

- The press conference begins.

On Osimhen: "It's not the work of a single person but a team effort. Maximum respect, then we'll take care of ourselves".

How will you charge companions tomorrow? "Saying that these matches here, you never know when you'll play another one again. These are evenings that will stay with you for a lifetime, for better or for worse. That's why we play football, for emotions and adrenaline. The other The evening at San Siro was one of the best experiences I've had in my career. Tomorrow will be a little different but it gives you an emotion that you can't find anywhere else. That's why we play football."

Milan's journey over the last three years: "It's a joy to be at Milan, one of my dreams when I was little. Then the journey we've made as a team with the coach... I had a dream, but I didn't expect it to be We have taken many steps and one of the things that in my opinion made the difference was the point of view of the coach, who every day begins to push us to improve and never make us happy with where we are. very important. If you would have told me three years ago that this would have been our path then we would all have signed. A nice path."

- The conference ends here.

the one thing I would hate seeing tomorrow is mental collapse of the squad ( no pressing, no positional play etc.) or fragility/lack of attention in defense in the early exchanges.

Attitude Is what I want to see.

And a brace from CDK ofc

Napoli have been thinking about scoring and beating us at home, tell me they have not.

Napoli have not been thinking about conceding at home, even if they have the time they have spent doing that is not as much as that on scoring.

When we score, at any time of the game, no matter what the scoreline is at that moment, they will fall apart.

Back four please lay low lay low lay low.

Forza Milan.

I think Brahim is the key for tomorrows match. If he has a good game with his dribbling to beat their press I think we’ll beat them.

Excited to see a fully charged Theo

Big performance needed by Calabria ofcourse he’s got the most difficult task vs Kvara

Good morning everybody. Here we are ...one of the biggest nights in our recent history. 3 years after COVID lockdown ..who whould have thought that we will come this far? First it was the amazing post lockdown run, then the 2nd place season where we are believed ...then the return to CL and the Scudetto..and now we are 90 mins away from being one the best 4 teams in Europe. It has been an amazing roller-coaster with ups and downs(mostly ups). Lets all enjoy and believe tonight..we can do great things this CL season.

This is do or die game and Napoli never played such kind of game. 2 years ago at the end of the league we played back to back do or die games and win. Last year starting from inter away game we played lots of do or die game and win. This year against Tottenham (even salzburg) we played do or die game we won. Napoli never had such experience. Their qualification game was so easy and finished in the first game. Their group stage was obvious. League was decided in the winter. They had never pressure. It is a big advantage for our invincible guys

It is also their first qf in cl. They are (city, club ) 100 times more excited than us. We should stay calm and play with their nerves. They will attack with hunger but they will be very vulnerable if something they didn’t plan happen they will be very close to collapse.

Pls Victory for positivity force😂 we believed in you , don’t leave us alone in the cruel hands of negativity force😂

Agree, I'm obviously feeling the nerves right now, but the overwhelming feeling is gratefulness. It's been such a crazy journey to this point.

It's also cool that the Milan/Napoli rivalry has been revived. We're lucky to see Milan play them so deep into the CL - this for some reason never happened on the continental level between the two teams in the 80s.

Good point.
Spalletti also mentioned the item of experience in the face of adversity after our league game. He said Napoli did not know how to play with 2 goals down.
I agree, this mental capacity will be crucial tonight.
That being said, I admit that I am nervous as hell.

Just here to let you all know that i got a feeling that CDK is gonna score.
He must not play tonight. I prefer to play with 10 men rather than playing him in this crucial game.
