Dutch football next season will be the first country in the world to use a video referee. Expected KNVB chairman Michael van Praag, he said Thursday at a meeting of officials from the region Groningen.

This season has been tested with the video referee, but in official matches FIFA prohibits the help yet. The KNVB will shortly submit a proposal to the IFAB, the rule committee of FIFA, to test run in the Dutch league with the system.

"The video referee is somewhere outside the stadium in a car with several good screens," explains Van Praag Friday in the newspaper of the North. "With a headset, he is like the assistant referees, in direct contact with the referee. He can while looking at the images from the referee saying that a violation is yellow or red and whether something is worth it or no penalty. the referee can then base its decision immediately. "

i like michael van praag, he has balls. He called blatter out on his bullshit publically and tried to work him out of fifa, he got some of the big nations in europe behind him but it was obviously a lost cause before it even started.

De Boer let him play for the youth team the first half of the season to get used to the ajax system. He's starting to get minutes now, made his ajax eredivisie debut few weeks ago and scored his first ajax leauge goal last week.

Think he's going to get proper playing time after the break. He's still only 18.

PSV basically league winners, 15 point advantage on Ajax now. Wijnaldum, Memphis, Willems and Guardado the difference makers. Expect de Boer to move after this season.
