unfortunately, people in sri lanka seem to think that eid is on monday which is not true because hajj day is today in arafat. so i fasted today and am gonna go for eid prayers on monday. anyone else celebrating on monday?

About which one is bigger, let's not argue about it Different countries celebrate it differently. In Indonesia, the one that comes after Ramadhan is definitely bigger due to the 1 month fasting. People go back to their hometown to celebrate it with their families and 2-3 days before and after the big 2 days, the country is practically in festive mood.

In Jordan we call Adha the big eid because it is usually a longer vacation (around 10 days), but Fitr is only 2 or 3 days like you said. Adha is also the moment for Hajj so it is a bigger occasion, but i am with you 100% that I enjoy Fitr because it marks the end of a tough and enduring Ramadan
