This actually made me laugh out loud:

As Milano84 will no doubt attest, Pirlo is the "deep-lying playmaker" in every situation. Dictates the tempo with grace and finesse, despite frequently being forced to operate in tight spaces.

Put too much thought into that one.

Maybe the scotch are good for something.

This is why patriotism and football don't always go hand in hand. :)

We HAVE to either injure [Muslera] or really put his self esteem to an all time low (past 2 matchdays have been helping out a lot)....It's sad we didn't do it with Gargano...and that we're not playing Palermo yet to do it to Cavani.

stop wanting Milan to injure players so that can help costa rica, its bad karma, you wanted Milan to injure gragano and Nesta got injured instead.

Milan is like that old guy who's banged the best of the best so don't expect to get a rise out of him for the average Jane next door (Sevilla etc). However given the chance to have a pop at that young, hot rich chick the younger guys are gunning for (Barca, Chel$ki) they will rise to the occasion.....even if they have to take Viagra to do so

liked it

calum> you

Good evening.

As I'm sure you're all aware, today is the 27th birthday of the man who is not only my personal favourite player; he is also the village of Kemnay's 2nd greatest sportsman. That man, ladies and gentlemen, is :star:Darren Mackie.:star:

Darren Graham Mackie (a.k.a. Dazzler, The Lion Cub, etc.) may not be a player blessed with great technical ability, nor with any composure, awareness, or indeed any discernible footballing talent. However, what he so completely and utterly lacks in skill, he more than makes up for in running fast, running around, and running into people. His most recent act of heroism came only last Saturday, when he savagely and "needlessly" knocked on-loan Rangers player Andy Webster over an advertising board, as part of a sensational display of running around and knocking bastards over.

Local hero Mackie has also been credited, along with William Gallas, as a pioneer of the "False No. 10" position. Like the more famous "False No. 9" role popularised by the likes of Dimitar Berbatov, this tactical breakthrough has replaced a traditional interpretation of a position, in this case the fantasista, with a new breed of player, a more workmanlike, less skilful, less creative and entirely more awesome forward.

When he's not engaging in such righteous brutality or tactical innovation, Mackie occasionally (roughly once every 5 matches) likes to score a goal.

Sometimes, these goals are vital:

Sometimes, they're a triumph of good over unspeakable evil:

And sometimes, they're just fucking hilarious:

Tragically, arguably his finest ever goal, a Van Basten-esque strike from a 60 yard pass taken full on the volley on the edge of the box, is only on YouTube as part of various compilations. So you'll just have to take my drunken word for the fact that it was the greatest goal since Pippo's first against Liverpool.

Finally, I'd like you all to join me in a prayer:

You are my Mackie
My Darren Mackie
You make me happy, when skies are grey
Nacho Novo, he is a homo
Please don't take my Mackie away

Amen.

Guys stop with the doom and gloom. One loss and you think we're getting relegated. We're really not that far away. We just need a few reinforcements to fix this side. nothing big, not 20 players, just a few additions to take over:

First with Pato out it's obvious we are lacking a player capable of playing RW in our system. Beckham is more of a midfielder than attacking wide forward. We should get Cristiano Ronaldo to back up Pato. He's pretty good at Right wing, I think he could do the job.

Second it's clear our midfield is missing some energy. I love Ambrosini, but he can't play every game. Rino also looks done as a top flight DM. Thats why we should get Michael Essien to slightly rotate in for Ambrosini and keep his legs fresh.

Third we need a new left back. it's beyond OBVIOUS Abate will be the next Cafu/Zambrotta combine into one super force but we need an equivalent on the left hand side. Antonini looks like he could be that guy but he is small and a little injury prone. Thats why I'm thinking Patrice Evra would be a good option to platoon with him on the left. I realize he's not italian therefor he is < your average Italian defender like Massimo Gobbi or Cristian Molinaro but we are not made of money, we cannot afford those guys. Evra would be a nice addition on the low.

Forth even though Dida saved our asses 4 or 5 times vs. Inter I can't help but think, what if he gets hurt? What if he loses form ? Can't trust Abbiatti or Storari or Roma. We need a new keeper and preferably a young one. That's why I think we need to sign Edwin Van Der Saar. These fresh legs are just what we need incase Dida suffers an unfortunate accident or for the future going forward

Finally fifth, last but not least. I realized Ronaldinho cannot play forever. He looked poor vs. Inter and if this happens again, we need an alternative. Then it dawned on me... obvious answer. Leo MEssi?! He backed up Ronnie at Barca, why not have him come understudy here. He can get a few copa italia matches to stay fit, hopefully by starting him we can still beat novara and treistina. Then in 15 years when Ronnie is finally ready to retire and berlusconi is ready to have a beyond extravagant party for Ron, Leo can finally take over!

Thats it guys. Just 5 signings. No big deal. We do all this, i guarantee we beat inter!
You just can't teach that kind of posting. :star:

The defeat is hard to swallow but everybody will let it go away as time goes by. One moth, 6 months, or a year from now nobody will be talking about this match on a daily basis. I find the defeat very acceptable. The better side won as it happens in every game. The winner takes it all the loser has to fall (I bet you all have heard this song). Man Utd had an excellent game and displayed very clinical counter-attacking abilities. We were outplayed by them. Why should I complain?

You guys know what? Although they are calling you guys less classy compared to the "local" Milan fans I find you guys the best Milan fans in the world. Many of you curse the team, the players, the coach and whatever the fuck gets on your nerves and the people who only come here occasionally might think of you guys as uneducated people but I never do so. You are the best Milan fans in the world, always remember that.

Man Utd fans are having a good time. They have the rights to say anything they want simply because they were the winners. But trust me, in this sport, a win or a defeat is always a relative situation. It went well for you yesterday but there is never a guarantee that it will go well for you tomorrow. Man Utd fans a living in the moment and they have the rights to do that.

Do not feel bad of yourselves because they are calling you arrogant. We are indeed an arrogant team with an enormous pride. Today we lost an important game and are going through a very hard time. However, we remain silent and calm because many things are waiting for us ahead to accomplish.

We are a team who respect our opponents a lot even when we win over them. Again, people who come here occasionally cannot realize this fact and are thinking of you guys like lame people but as I said, never lose your pride. I like the way many of you always point out the good things in our opponents' performances after every single game no matter if we win or lose. I like the way you guys talk about our opponents with respect (only if they respect us). I like the way you guys feel sorry for our opponents when we are favoured by the referees (I sometimes find it sissy though LOL). But in a nutshell, you guys always talk respectfully and thoughtfully about our opponents. Therefore, do not feel bad just because some people who do not know you guys well are talking bullshit about you.

I have been in this place throughout the best and worst moments of the team ever since I became a Milan fan. Nothing will ever beat us up. During a time like this, we suck up all the bad stuff and move on. Milan never die because our hope never fades.

FORZA MILAN!!!

dru you're missing the point. when you don't touch the ball, make runs or get involved at all like huntelaar (or young zigoni today) you r intrinsically better than someone who tries and fails.

It's that mysterious factor that lets some claim they r amazing, they just didn't have chance to 'show it' cause selfish seedorf, abate, ronaldinho whoever took the ball (um by making an actual move usually).

We can call it the batman factor. You don't even see zigoni, he's so good

In the early 90's english tv did a doc on horse racing. The people brought a pair of binoculars from america, that was being used in horse racing. A person would look through them and point at the horse they wanted to stop. then they just firsd a sound at the horse, and it in effect scrambled the horses brain.

They showed examples of horses falling all over the place for no reason, while running to the finish for no reason.

You telling me these weapons are not being used to stop players, as our brains are just like any other animals. Do you hear players complain, no i think it mainly happens when you go away from home.

I personally think that manu use plenty of these weapons and used them in 2007 against roma when they beat them 7-1.

i think it was in retaliation for manu thinking they where stopped in rome when they lost 2-1 to roma.

I think the 7-1 game is a good example of english using weapons on teams to stop them.

there is more going on behind the scenes then we all know.

The weapons used are callled psychotronic weapons, and are used by military and police. they are called non lethel weapons.

If you ever have them used on you, its like your brain gets scrambled and you cannot think.

Microwaving a person makes them very tired and its alot harder to breath.

I think alex ferguson knows all about electronic mind control weapons. Of course others are using them.

think this is one of the best quotes... ever.

i used to coach a 13 year old girls basketball team when i was 18. Everyone thought I was a petofile, but its really difficult to teach proper technique without physical contact

That's probably the most random nomination here.

Wild's 'I made this forum, son' belongs here though. Too hdcantona[read: lazy] to look for it.

I am not lazy!

EDIT: well, yes I am, but if I'm passionate about something or interested in something, I'll work damn hard to achieve my goals in that field.

Please can our analysts on this forum please enlighten me as to how Barca are going to integrate this Dutch 'wizard' in the first XI.

No problem, he's a midget, they'll just pick the tallest guy on the pitch and put him on the bench. My guess is Abidal.

great stuff

Who will pump that intial amount? Arsenal and bayern have a great marketing vision, not milan. Maybe Emrites but they already have a stadium, oil money FTW

Stadiums matter a lot but a strong cash inflow stblises the club, otherwise with an inefficient leader we can go mediocre in financial department. just saying

then again serie a is run by bunch of ******s and deluded fans still think its in the top class, fuck them

riots and fan violence(which i enjoy witout death :p) is a big no for family atmosphere and kids, who will be the next generation milanistas

shitty stadiums suck if you show a will to develop, platini will grant italy an opportunity to host euros and everything will be good again, but presidents dont have much power all ******ed FIGC and shit

football - thats matter the most, what are you giving back to football, where is young talent what are you doing to make your league competitive nothing, bad publicity no exposure no reserve games.

Level of football has regressed- except for joses inter no team in italy has been strong enough to be the force in europe ******s parade napoli vs palermo as one of the best games in europe but fact of the matter is both are not good enough to be a European gaint, for example the best game i watched and played was when sixth standard A and sixth standard b faced off when i was in school , such an entertaining game but lame as fuck.

Serie B should be marketed well, and quality would be improved there they are the base for the talent, they can rely on the marketing money created by gaints, they can grrom talent and sell them.

There are million ways you can try to improve your football, but naah deluded shits still think there is something good going in italy other than Allegris compact team which is also overrated.

Step up italy, i am asking not only because you were a great part of football but my fav team plays there

I like it coz am an Azzurri fan. And its a shame to see country's league going backwards or rather not keeping up pace with modern football.
