Truth

There were periods where Fiorentina attackers were roaming around in our box !!! Do that with a Liverpool say and you will pay dearly

The (lack of) quality in Italy hasn't really prepared us for top class football
Sack pioli because Italy sucks

Milan are very lucky there simply isn't the quality in Italy to capitalize on these chances this team consistently gives up

Nice to get a win but it wasn't an encouraging performance, the back and middle are still wide open

Luckily no teams left will really test this team outside of Leverkusen and Inter which I believe will be ugly results but that's par for the course at this point
Europa league win or Pioli out

Renewing him based on recency bias and going through the same cycle year after year is asinine.

That being said, he deserves a respectful send off.

Sack Pioli because he will likely never win a title unless given Madrid-level talent

At no one point in his tenure has Milan put together consistently dominant form outside of quarantine conditions that will never be replicated
That's a lot of conjecture being thrown around as facts.

We have lost 1 league game in 6 months.

Right now we have around 80 points a season team. He needs 90 points a season to be a consistent winner.

You don't need Madrid level talent for that. You just need to increase the average height of the team by 3 inches and keep everyone fit.

This is stupid and it gets more stupid when you put conjecture as facts.

This team's style will never result in consistent winning and title form. Doesn't matter the personnel. This approach inherently gives weaker teams a chance in games where they have no right. The match against Fiorentina being the latest example

Italy is weak, more than usual there will be an elite team or two every season. Milan under Pioli has never reached this level. Even in the Scudetto season, it was inconsistent play

The defense gets exposed because he doesn't have proper midfielders that can provide cover and a right back who doesn't know how to defend without a chaperone.

We also have a lot of players who can't finish including penalties.

None of that requires Madrid level talent to fix or an empty stadium. If we had kessie and cheeks + cf we would probably be neck and neck with inter right now.

Milan is the second best team in shitaly and they are finishing as such.

He has his preferred midfielders and I call bullshit. Inter's most "defensive" midfielder is Kebab and yet they boast one of the best defenses in Europe for 2 years running now

Playing this style and saying dumb shit like "we need to outscore the opposition" is a decision. Milan could very well play a possession-oriented style and limit the exposure on the backline like quite literally every elite team in Europe but that will never be on the cards under Pioli

It's debatable which team is better on paper, but the gap between Milan and Inter isn't 10+ points

When leao and Giroud learn to be as clinical as lautaro then you can call bullshit. Until then we need to create 20 chances to score 2 goals.

If we have to do that then we have to play an aggressive style of football.

Pioli can play pragmatic defensive football if he wants. He did it successfully vs Tottenham and Napoli last year but it doesn't work for him vs mid table teams who sit back. And with krunic gone he doesn't have the defensive option in midfield either.

It's not debatable. Inter are clearly better. Twisting this to suit an agenda is boring.

Have you seen Inter play? Lautaro and Thuram are plenty wasteful. Hell, even Haaland is wasteful. Every team needs to create several chances to score

"If he wants" Does it matter if he doesn't know when? Every time he plays Inter he drops his pants and spreads wide. Went away to PSG and played his suicidal 1v1 defense to the point his captain publically questioned him. I guess Inzaghi just has the defensive wall of Kebab to enable him to use his brain and value defense and winning

The gap isn't 10+ points. Both teams have the same amount of top players. Milan has the edge in depth whereas Inter has the edge in experience. The factor creating a 10+ point gap is the coach

As always, after a break for national team matches, there is porridge on the field. Especially with Florenzi on the left and Bennaser in the center (Pioli finish with resuscitation attempts. What is dead cannot die) there is less quality. But it was still clear that violets and I were just teams of different levels

Today Niang will crush the neighbor and we will continue the conversation

It's not even close. Lautaro xg is 17 and he's at 23 goals. Almost a +6 over what's expected. Whereas leao and Giroud are just under par. Thuram is under par xg but a +3 on assists tally.

Inzaghi has a better team. Clinical strikers, better mids, better defenders, less liabilities, more time playing together. Same with PSG even though he won the return leg. If losing to better teams is piolis only sin then I'm okay with it if he continues to give me performance against everyone else for 6 months.

My life is simple. He got a completely new squad he had to reintegrate + deal with a massive injury crisis. He did, and now we have gone from 5th to 2nd. The trajectory is upwards. When the midgets are gone the silver will come.

Was realy solid. In first half 6 0 shoots on target. Solid movement, passing.

Problem s defense. Our fbs re joke. Calabria s mediocre, midget, slow, somwtimes does good defense, but in offense does nothing. Imagine having taller, stronger rb who helps in offense. Doesnt have to be theo. Calqbria ll make 5 runs per game but he never gets ball so oponents ignore him
Florenzi s same. Better but old and slow.
Thiaw s walking dissaster. Late tackles, bad positioning. Tomori positioning and anticipation s bad. There s no harmony between cbs. They re late changing from zones to man marking.

Leao motm followed by mike. When teams open up and attack we can kill games easily with counters. We need mobile striker. Zirkzee intstead of giroud ll do wonders.

Not sure about all that but when Bennacer is gone the number of giveaways in our own half will decrease for sure :o

They also create better/easier chances than Milan helping those numbers

I disagree with better defenders, players like De Vrij, Acerbi, Darmian, Bastoni, and so on look like fish out of water outside of Inzaghi's system. Just like Inter has the advantage in those areas, Milan has the advantage in wide areas, GK, etc

but I don't want you to bother the mods again to unban/reban you, enjoy your exile. We'll just see how many brain cells Pioli can rub together for his approach vs Inter and Leverkusen

We would be a 90 point a season team, if he hasn't flushed our first half of the season down the drain.

So many positives tonight. We were missing Theo, but what a squad this is when everyone's fit. Injuries have robbed us of a chance at the Scudetto.

I want to win EL so bad.
Doable but Liverpool will most likely be waiting for us. (we won't be favoured) Leverkusen is no slump either, but all things being even we should be able to handle them.
