Accurate IMO.

Also, Adli's much better 2nd half raising his rating by significant 0,4 to a good 6,6 overall @Samaldinho. It's like a 6,2 in the first and a 7,0 in the 2nd, which seems accurate to me. I don't think Sofascore is that much off.

Interesting that bioli rushed down to the locker room. He is usually one of the last persons to do so, as he would go and shake hands with everyone.

We’re 5 points from Inter, 6 from Juve if they win.

It’s not impossible.
its not, but there is no point stressing until the very end...like last 5 games or so

A win is a win is a win.

Our problems are in our setup. It's so painfully obvious when you watch us. You want to blame player execution, sure, I think when you're looking at RLC or Calabria, today, they didn't do their jobs well.

But overall, you look at the lack of balance, the way we are pulled out of our shape? It's really on the instructions, and you can see it here. This has been very glaring against both Bologna and against Frosinone today--teams that are very well-coached and setup well.

This was a game where we had better quality than our opponents, and won through will and in spite of the obvious plan, rather than because of it.

This team can do a lot more, but I'm happy that we won. I'll always be happy for a win. But you cannot help but be frustrated with seeing how we play and think "what if we were coached properly?"

he got humbled by the mighty frosinone and won by an accidental goal from Jovic.

In the beginning of the season, I perceived that there was such a gulf in quality between maignan and sportiello. Every time sportiello has played this season, he’s looked class and his distribution has been better than maignan this season.

I would only renew maignan to immediately sell him after. His continental reputation is still intact and he’s still France’s #1. We can make a nice profit from his sale.

3 points vs Bologna would've 100% put us in the Scudetto race. We're definitely not out of it, but it would need some rather improbable results over the next 3 months for us to be in the driving seat.

Probably had to take a piss.
Would've pissed his pants if they'd lost. :sip:

Last year Maldini's mercato left Milan with no effective bench.
This season they sold Tonali to revive the bench, and the results are showing.
Hate the American owners all you want, but they did what was necessary.

I think on the one hand this team is playing haphazardly, but on the other they are capable of turning a game on its head. We have a deep team that has had little continuity all season. The last few weeks have been largely casualty free bar Miranda’s skin rash, and I think we have collected, what, 20 out of 24 in the league? I could be wrong.

When I think back to the last day of the summer mercato and Jovic’s last-minute signing, I am pleasantly surprised at how well he has turned out for us. He has been a solid transfer. Rescued us countless number of times.

The only positive from this season is that we have a good level of talent in the squad. Unquestionably there needs to be high level upgrades at CF, RB, and CDM, but pretty much everyone we brought in over the summer has performed well.

You bring in a bonafide manager along with the right additions at those positions of need and I think this team will excel.

Compared to Origi, Jesus what a signing.

Jovic has probably added something like 7-9 points to our total this season.

2 points can't be the difference between 100% in the race and 'rather improbable'. We would have needed Juve and Inter to slow down in any case. We need to beat them both. We need to go on a good run.

We've been on a pretty damn good run since Dortmund. We only dropped points in Serie A at Atalanta, Salernitana and at home to Bologna. We beat Frosinone twice, Udinese, Roma, Empoli, Sassuolo and Monza.

7 wins, 2 draws and a loss. 2.3 points per game. That's not a bad run, and if we keep that up we could be in the race if they slow down.

Our last loss in the league was against Atalanta on December 9th.
Since then 6 wins, 2 draws.
