The lil bitch in heat is trotting behind me again... Where's your study buddy sharing your dorm room + your computer, TROLL ?

And, how about YOU add sth to the discussion. ANY discussion, rather than whore for my attention ?

Here you go thinking way too highly of yourself again, and the dorm thing is getting really old, I'm in my apartment right now if you are so interested.

That being said, I don't think we can heavily rely on Pippo anymore (knee and ankle injuries galore, and also that muscle thing?). If Gila would ever find his form again he would have much more potential. Wasn't he the one of the top scorers in the Serie A for two years? He is also only 24 and not quite in his prime. Once he finds his rhythm in Milan he'll have a lot of success, he defiantly has the ability. The man needs confidence, something Pippo has plenty of, he should lend some out :D

^^ aha, i just want you to know that if its because of the goals yesterday then one game never did and never will change a player ;)

and besides, we're talking about UCL, we all know that ancelotti prefers gila rather than pippo in the serie A :head: and gila proved that maybe, just maybe, ancelotti knew what he was doing ;) but in UCL gila doen shit, like rooney...but rooney been scoring lately in UCL ublike gila, who scored what? 2 goals in UCL? :confused here: and he aint done better...id say PIPPO but since he is getting old etc crap, give them 45 mins each :) or give oli and gila 45 mins each...but then everyone says that pippo and gila doesnt do too good together ... do we need a striker or what?

I remmember he scored a similar goal against Inter.Cordoba was marking him and he finished it in that style.
I remmeber Gila even from his Verona days.He played together with Oddo,Camoranesi,Mutu but that year Verona got relegated and Gila went to Parma where he exploded,Camoranesi went to Juve,Oddo to Lazio.
Gila was outstanding in his Parma days and the summer before he came to Milan, Chelsea,Real Madrid were the teams that were intrested in getting him.
I admit he hasnt delivered what was expected of him,but I think he lacks confidence in Milan cos' he sure posseses the quality.
About Pippo well what can you say.He has been around for like 15 years and he always scored regularly. From his Atalanta,Juve days till now.I know some would say he sucks,he doesnt posses speed, pace, shot bla bla but he can put the ball in the net and at the end of the day that is what matters.
He has been regular for the Azzuri for the past 10 years or more under different coaches(Maldini,Zoff,Trapatoni,Lippi) which shows he is higly valued...
So If I had to chose now between Gila and Pippo ,Pippo's got the edge but Gila is still young and he can improve....

Well seems he will start vs ManU so he has the chance 2 take a huge step in redeeming himself.

Both are fantastic players and should start together. It's been a joy to watch these two great players in action. Not only is their scoring ability and talent beyond many other strikers in Europe but also the outstanding fairness and honestly the bring to the game . So hard to come by nowadays .

Just imagine if Gila could somehow pickup Pippo's instincts in front of goal + his movement into + around the penalty box ... he'd be unstopable! Easier said than done though as, like it or not, Pippo continues to prove that he's the best in the business.

Inzaghi has a great CL goalscoring record (50 goals) while Gilardino only scored once :) I guess that pretty much sums the discussion.

Both of them are good but whoever says they should play together is a moron, and does not know anything about soccer. They are strikers, and strikers never work well together, one striker and one forward are perfect, like what it was when Shevchenko (forward) was here.

Well yes and no. Yes cause, Pippo has it in his blood to score in the CL and Gila has a pathetic record in it (which I'm sending the good vibes to be over tomorrow), and no cause well Pippo has been playing in the CL for a decade already and Gila hasn't even had half of a decade to play in it.

^Definately right mate.
There is only one name that comes to mind when I witness Gilardino and Inzaghi grace the football field and that is Totti. No doubt the Milan duo have continued Totti's legacy on the field, great sportsmanship, never reacts by kick people, never slaps or punches players in the head, or makes gestures when his team is up 4-0 to Juventus, or dives and stays down for 10mins, he is truely Immaculate. One demonstration of this is the way he kept his cool when Roma got SMASHED 7-1 to Man Utd. I mean that is just magnificent. Without doubt the greatest Captain and player that has ever played football. However it still strikes me as a huge shock how they lost 7-1. I mean this Roma team are a team of champions. There must be another Calciopoli part II going on. That's the only conclusion I can come to. It's just absurd.

I'm surprised people still even make the comparison. Gila's most performances have been nothing but disappointing. All the wasted chances, the bad control and the lack of confidence, I can't stand anymore.

I'd pick Pippo any day.

Nope ... IMO, and I stress that because I'm sure most will disagree (of which I have no intention of getting into a discussion with ;) ), Pippo had/has better goal scoring instincts than Shave. His movement is also noticeably different than Shave's. What I meant to say was that Gila is undeniably more technically gifted than Pippo (control, dribbling, passing, etc.) but lacks the directness of Pippo which is what Pippo built his illustrious career on. If Gila takes a step back + learns much from Pippo, he'll be unstoppable.

To say that Gila at the moment is more in form than Pippo it's ok but to say that he;s superior to him it's a bit too much! He himself said that he has much to learn from his mate Pippo ... Maybe with time he will be as great or greater than him but he hasn't yet reached that target .... Anyway ... I respect Gila just the same hope he scores tonite. Come on Milan let's kick ass!
