Half of that is pre-season

I've heard he's got the Cantona-ban where he's not even allowed to train at a club, though I dunno if that's true.

he four-month ban has begun today meaning his suspension begins as of right now.

It has also been confirmed that Uruguay can appeal.

But even if they do he WILL NOT play in the Colombia match.

Claudio Sulser, chairman of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee, had this to say:

"Such behaviour cannot be tolerated on any football pitch, and in particular not at a FIFA World Cup when the eyes of millions of people are on the stars on the field.

"The Disciplinary Committee took into account all the factors of the case and the degree of Mr Suárez’s guilt in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Code.

"The decision comes into force as soon it is communicated."

He's banned for 4 months, can't show his face in the stadium or do any football related activities, so no training.

Joke.

Ill be shocked if the day when Suarez gets registered as a sex offender never comes.

Just misses Man City and Tottenham among big games in that 4 months though.

Just enough to make them loose the league at the very end again.

Totally worth it. :o

What a martyr. :proud:

You're a sick person. Disgusting for you to say that... Animalistic really.

I think Suarez should be banned for life. He's an animal.

3 times biting plus looked like he was going to bite in Confed Cup last year? This guy will do it again.. He's psychotic.

Considering there was a maximum of 2 years on the table, he got off lightly.

Don't know if you are serious or not, but this IS a corrupt, bullshit move from them.

FIFA got too much flak on them from the stupid referee calls from last WC and this one. Suarez should have gotten a red card for the bite, yes, and so they decided to take this stupid "though" on crime attitude and make an example out of him all in hopes to get some pressure off of them without actually having to do anything that would bring real changes to the problem :fp:

Fuck Blatter. I want Mexico's goals against Cameroon to count with the same escalation they treated his red card.

Uruguay will not forfeit. Should they do that, they would be banned for at least the next FIFA World Cup. That's for sure, knowing what kind of tyrant FIFA is (not saying that this decision was wrong).

FiFA tyrant? Maybe, but they give Suarez a minimal suspension.
4 months? :fp: The dud deserved the maximum suspension (2 years). It was not the first that he did it and on top he did it in the world cup.
What the fuck Uruguay has to complain? The footage of the biting was so clear and they still want to complain that it was photo shopped.
And some people think that he is cool and what he did is awesome. The only one that should think that is the dud that made almost $1000, the football lovers should know that he made the world cup 2014 more of a joke than what it already is with all the bad refereeing.

Four months to recover from his knee operation, plus the prospect of a fat paycheck from Real. Luis Suarez must be a happy man.

What the fuck you idiot?
The ones who don't understand football are the ones who doesn't think it's a red.
High foot with the studs against a players leg is ALWAYS a red. There is no form of more dangerous play than that as you can actually break a leg, just what my friend did to a player when we played a game.
Don't be an idiot, please.
Yeah he clearly got murdered by Marchisio scratching his shin pad cause he went for the ball. Bradley just did a studs up worse than his and didntt get shit. Plus why aren't we talking about how the corner that godin scored wasn't a corner to begin with? So many anti Italia fans lol
