I wouldn't even say milan started having a injury crisis in january. It was just a brief period that lasted till the new year when we didnt have many injured. We started this season with 10+ players missing, remember.

Something is definitely wrong. No point of calling it coincidence anymore. We do have injury prone players like boa, pato and aquilani and i guess count cassano as a freak incident. Rino was mistreated and if you count out all the injury prone players wed still have a injury list that would be long 7 to 8 players for the 3rd time this season.

Milan need to change something.

As was stated Milan had many problems in the games lost against Juve without Abate because quite simply the construction of the game suffers without him in the side & not a single player can play his role. His final ball can be bad but he gets forward well & defends well.

I would play Zambrotta without doubt. He can no longer run but he decent with the ball & defends well & intelligently.

Abate will miss Parma,Juventus & Roma & possibly the first leg of the quarter final in champions league. Milan need him back for first leg in champions league. He will be a massive miss in all them games & I would not play first choice players at Juve & just hope the stand in's do well, for example give Seedorf,Yepes,Muntari,Flamini if fit etc. Milan cannot afford the likes of Thiago Silva,Aquilani,Nocerino,Van bommel etc to get hurt.

I dont mind missing Abate for Serie A, our team is much better than our opponents.... but if Abate is out for two weeks then he misses the first leg of the Qfinals on 27 March. Abate played a great game versus Arsenal at the Emirates. He was very solid IMO, and he has played well against Barca and Real in the last two years.

His speed and strength is very important for who we will face. It's going to be a huge loss if we miss Abate for the first leg. The draw is in about 1 hour, I hope we get an easy team because it'll be so hard with MvB and Abate in the first leg.
