-Jiménez (not special as right back, but more satisfying performance when deployed as Winger)

-Nappa (Exept the passing ability, perfect )

The Weakest performer :

Zeroli : all passes were horrible, the defensive contribution wasn't great, may be the U19 exhausted him, needs more time to get full fitness

Sia: Exept a good run drribling, he didn't create any occasion

Propably Novara got a corner, the goalkeeper came to outnumber Milan Futuro, but he want back Sia did an outside hook.

Seem like Milan got in the group with more traditional clubs, some with recent success... Ternana and Ascoli just got relegated, SPAL, Carpi, Pescara all played Serie A in the last 10 years. Perugia was a solid Serie B club for a long time.
Some tough games ahead... That's going to be a very good experience for the players for sure.
Still would take that group anyday over the crazy travel they would have to put up in Group C.

I am curious about Zeroli, how is he doing? With Jimenez and Liberali, and even Torriani, their talent is visible on the pitch and you can see there is something a bit special about them.

While Zeroli may be the leader, cool headed, in terms of talent, I have not really noticed anything. Plus, he is already 19 where most future stars would already play for the 1st team -at least a sub. Not doubting him yet but I am not exactly clear on his potential and what is unique about him.

You know I prefer to be I'm franck, Zeroli doesn't impress me he has an average talent, , but he is a complete player, if he works hard and show a great mental strength, he can break into the 1st team, He is smarter than Musah and enjoy a bigger skillset than the American

Nicolo Turco to Futuro set to be officialized later today. Loan with option to buy for €2m from Salzburg. Was regarded as one of Italy's best talents last year and made a surprising move to Austria - now back in Italy.

So, along with the 4 overagers they got Mastrantonio, Dutu, Zukic, Hodzic, Vos and Turco... They're all 19~20 aged players Milan only attracted to the club to play for Futuro. They wouldn't come to Milan otherwise... Too good or too old for Primavera, not a place in the first team (well, maybe Vos).
Players don't want to move just to be loaned out to Serie B/C but they seem to move to play in a B club.

It's a numbers thing and Milan will need to be loaded with players like that every season... A lot more chance of finding players than just those coming from youth teams. Suspect Milan analytics scouting will do well here cause it's not about finding the right profile, but a lot more about identifying pure market opportunity and raw potential.

Also, Jimenez should definitely be fighting for our first team RB-spot. Excellent on the ball, fluent drive and good at setting up our attacks.

To be fair, this game wasn't good from our side. Despite they look far better than our first team /in terms of synchronisation, tactical awareness/, imo they had less occasions than Carpi, both teams could lose or win. Penalty looked so soft to me - but on the other hand we could win if Cuenca finished his opportunity in the end.
Jimenez looked great - but remember, he played against a poor Serie C side. Even though I'd like to see him in first team, I'm not going to pretend that he will be a solution there for sure.
Vos played 45', had one AWESOME pass, to Jimenez, there definitely is talent. I'm curious how much more he'll show.

Something has to be done with the pitch on our ground, it looks awful. No player will improve his technical skills on this stubble field.
