Raiola just said that Milan hasn't made an offer yet. I call that BS. It's obvious he wants a contract of 3+ mill per year and considering that PSG wanted to buy him for 10 mill less than 2 years ago, he'll probably get that much if not here somewhere else.

I wouldn't mind offering him a contract for 3M if he can keep this form all the time, but considering his previous year performances and injuries, I'm not sure that it's gonna happen. You have players like Darmian that gets 0.5 mill a year and Pasqual that gets 1 mill a year.

Also the performances so far are tied not only to his qualities (the same way that Nocerino scoring 10 goals was not only due to his skills). The thing is that Abate plays much better in counter-attack and if there are players that can make a through pass when he makes the run. Otherwise he's a lot more innocuous. If he can learn to dribble or fake a cross, he'd be a lot more dangerous.

On defense, the pair Alex-Abate has been a lot more stable than Rami - De Sciglio

Hes playing well because Pippo's tactics are very well suited to him Abate gets forward a lot more. The partnership between and Honda is perfect which helps a lot too obviously. They work wonders together
