he was a bit hesitant to go for the run sometimes though, not complaining or anything cause we were passing the ball around at the time but he could have took a bit of initiative and made inter suffer much like bale did. his progress has been outstanding, i'm sure he will get there soon enough, defensively he's already a beast and offensively he is well on his way, great assist and also a pinpoint cross to seedorf which should have culminated in a penalty

Its quite alright..orandelli was at the match tonight so he sees this..I'm sure he has been keeping tabs on abate in in the near future will be getting calls up to the NT..prob one of the best Right backs in Italy..he is money up and down the right side all game and is steadily improving on the attacking skills..

He has the speed, he has the spirit, he has the energy, he has the love for the team, he has the aggression, for all the things he doesn't have he has Zambrotta, Maldini and Tasotti and youth. He will become amazing if he continues to develop in this path. in one season he has handled all the big names he has faced almost flawless and came out as the winner!
