who wants to sell him after this game?

same people who will never credit him.

Mistake not starting him... but you know, same people will criticize allegri for not starting him, but claim DES is better and he needs to start

We're blaming DES for the goals, now?

 I do. De Sciglio is our best player by far. Only offensive threat. Not his fault Totti and Balzaretti are gangbanging him without help from any other dipshit.

same people who will never credit him.

De Sciglio is better and Abate shouldn't start. Abate was 10x worse vs Lazio.

IMO Abate would have been better suited for today's game

Yep, just like when Lazio had fun with him. De Sciglio at least tried, and had a good attacking game. Plus no one helped him and he was up against fucking Totti ffs.

If he was fit, he should of played.

not because Des is bad, but because in games like this where we are essentially playing for a favourable result, you go with your experience.

But against Juve when De Sciglio was excellent we didn't need experience? And against Inter is Abate's experience any good? Or earlier this season vs Lazio?

I loved the offensive threat that DS gave when he crossed the ball to 5 yards behind the goal... if Abate had done that it would have been the end of the world for some people...

DS kept having people get by him and he lacks the pace to recover

Abate has the pace to recover but lacks everything else. De Sciglio benched him at club level and will hopefully do the same in the senior NT soon. :proud:

What has been Abate's highlight this season? Making the winning assist vs Genoa? :proud:

When Abate was 20 he was playing at Piacenza. De Sciglio at 20 is being labeled Tassotti's better version by Tassotti himself.

De Sciligo vs Juve had the whole team defending, he sucks at set pieces, he sucks at stopping the other teams build up play, and he's skinny and weak as shit. Why not use Abate while he's in his prime? De Sciglio can give one good cross a game wooow fucking amazing great to be 7th place, Abate helped us win a Scudetto and come 2nd place last year. RB's defend, RW's attack, fucking put DES as a RW and move Monto to the middle and get Ambro outta there, Abate even helped Italy get to the final of the Euro 2012, bench him would be full ******.

Anyone remember how Inter scored this year? Wasn't DES the one falling over himself as Cambiasso over took him? And Totti today had waaay too much room on that right wing.

actually, Abate was as the youngest Milan player to ever play in the UEFA Champions League, at 17 years and 27 days, only later surpassed by Cristante.

I still like De Sciglio over Abate, and feel that it would be important for any young player to experience adversity, so today's fiasco would be valued part of De Sciglio's growth.

I do like to hold on to Abate. He is actually quite solid defensively (except for against Milito, lol). I was hoping that he would be tried as LB, but as Constant suddenly emerged out of nowhere, there is no more space for Abate there.

Good for him. It still took him 6 years, 4 loans and 2 co-ownerships to make it back into Milan. De Sciglio is a starter at 20. Think the difference in quality is obvious.

Yea we're in seventh place. With Abate we've been in CL every year, and that was with people like Borriello in the team. But its ok keep hating him for that one Inter goal, the goal where Zanetti beat the whole team to cross it to Milito from the half way line and Abate was the only one trying to defend ie. his job.

What makes people think Abate would have done better vs this Roma rampage and Totti in this mood?

In fact, I dont even want to imagine what Totti would have done to Abate, maybe its good for him that he didnt play.

Well, those years that Abate were on loan and co-ownership, we had Cafu, Oddo, and Zambrotta who were all quality RBs.

Now we only have Abate...no back up. Maybe this is why?

Such an underrated player imo.....He would have been able to get tighter to Totti today than De Sciglio could have due to his physicality. I think Abate suffers from the 'what you see elsewhere must be better' syndrome by most posters in this forum. Watch and see if Abate goes to PSG he would all of a sudden be deemed great again by people who now ridicule him.

Abate is good enough to be reserve RB in a club like Milan, or starter for Fiorentina.

De Sciglio is special I would never sell him

what's the problem with having botch Des and abate?

i'm a big abate fan, but Des is the present and future. but we're likely to see rotation between the two of them this and probably next season as well. that's good, let the kid grow in peace. it would be utterly stupid to sell abate.

Even we had Cafu as starter, Abate would be still a good backup let alone DeSiglio being assumed a starter. Both are also Milan product.

It is great we have quality right FBs coming from our youth academy, really nothing to complain here. Having both is also very good for competition, a fit and ready who will play.

So did you just confirm that De Sciglio is better than Abate?

Uhmmmm no. If Abate was at PSG, Gignac would be scoring like crazy in each clasico courtesy of Abate's trademark assists.
