When he came in rebic has more spaces to do his best things, crossing, which lead to goal/penalty.

If he can score 10 times in a row after coming on from the bench AND rescue team (bad results will not count) then I will consider starting him. Nice guy Pioli's logic.

Milan winger Jens Petter Hauge revealed Dortmund striker Erling Haaland ‘recommended’ he moved to the Rossoneri and said Zlatan Ibrahimovic told him to 'enjoy' his time at San Siro.

Hauge has played 18 Serie A games with the Rossoneri, contributing two goals in the process. His last goal came in the 1-1 draw with Sampdoria after the international break.

“I would like to contribute to the team and score goals,” Hauge told SportMediaset. “There’s still room for improvements and for this I will continue to work hard.”

The Norwegian winger, who arrived from Bodo/Glimt last summer, said Ibrahimovic has helped him since his move to Milan.

“He’s great, we had a great time together,” Hauge said. “Upon my arrival he told me to commit myself and enjoy it, because Milan are a team with an important history.

“He told me to work hard and try to fit in well with the group.”

Hauge said he spoke to BVB striker Haaland about Milan and revealed his teammate in the national team advised him to go.

“We talked a lot, we know each other well. There were many clubs who were interested in me,” Hauge said. “I talked to him about Milan, and he recommended it to me.

“He told me it would be tough, but that I would do well.”

And Hauge said Haaland has all the attributes to play in Serie A.

“I think he has the qualities to play in Italy, he would be very happy here because he’s strong and fast.”

Get Haaland here ASAP.

My thoughts exactly. This youngster has shown he can play and compete, with the little time he's been given. When subbed on, numerous times he was over looked for passes. At this point, and how we've been playing, give him more minutes.

Obviously Pioli doesn't count on him. Even today when we won 7-0 he still subs the same players.

Wonder if he regrets coming here, I'd be looking elsewhere if the likes of Krunic and Samu is given more chances despite not showing anything more than he has. At this point, he's almost in the same pecking order as Maldini JR the LW position.

Krunic stepped up vs ManU and as a sub he usually solid, I mean you don't expect much of him but you als know that he won't do anything that looses you the match.

Can Hause even play well enough on the right?

it couldn't be a tactical reason. either some players don't like him or pioli doesn't like him

the lack of communications annoys me too

Don't get the Krunic hate, guy has had poor moments but also solid ones too. Let's not forget he also had 2 assists yesterday. But I do get the sentiment - Hauge needs playing time and it was stupid not to loan him out when he's gotten very little time here. He needs playing time, a lesser Serie A side for example so he can remain in the country and learn the language better. Obviously has talent but much like Rebic and Leao (who he is still far behind both) seems to have patchy form. Goes through getting frequent minutes at one point (albeit with half the squad decimated) and didn't look good, to then getting a small display sometime later but looking confident and better.

That's the thing, krunic has been given chances even after he's been complete dog shit. How many penalties or fuck ups has he done that lead to goals for the other team? Or how many games where Samu has been completely useless for the team? They are given chances again and again, whereas Hauge hasn't been even tho there are games where he effectively has been the main reason to why we win. Something I can't remember the other two guys ever done. Krunic has played lw, dm and cam, I'm pretty sure hauge can be given to a chance to play there at least. Even Hakan went out and said that hauge shouldn't loose his spirit, that he should stay in Milan and fight for his spot. Even the players basically thinks that he isn't given enough chances.

There's a chance he doesn't show enough during training. Only those present at Milanello know what's really going, however at this point it's obvious that Hauge's situation is far from rosy

Krunic offers mezz'ala work. Pioli picks him for the LM role to accommodate a support striker, like Diaz, or Hakan when he's instructed to stay close to Ibra.

Samu and Hauge don't compete for the same spots or roles.
Samu is a defensive choice for the right flank, more of a wide midfielder than a wing-forward.
Hauge is a right-footed inverted wing-forward that cuts in from the left and then aims for the far post with the inside of his right foot. He's been terrible away from the left corner of the final third.
If you move him to the right flank then you're losing out on the only thing he's good at.

Hakan said what he's expected to say about a young teammate.

Its been weird reading a bunch of articles assuming that he is leaving this offseason. I really hope that isn't the case, I think he has the talent to become a top player, and I hope we don't lose him because of us being impatient.

I dont know how good he can be but I know he sure is effective at the most important aspect of the game - scoring.

He deserves to stay (even if he is loaned out for a season) but if he is used in a player exchange I would hope its for a very important piece who can serve Milan for the foreseeable future.

I hope he’s given a proper pre season before shipping him out on loan or as part of an exchange. Also want him to be tried at attacking mid - I think he has a lot of qualities to succeed there .

It would be a shame to let him go without a proper chance.

I would doubt his future in ACM. He needs to develop a lot of key aspects of his game. The body language is not so confident for a winger. Aggression and working off the ball need to be improved as well. Obviously that?s not much a problem for 17 years old guy, but seems to be not changeable for a guy of his age

He good player. Great striker of the football, But is too linear in his approach. Germany could be better fit with more spaces his "technical skill" is not enough for italy.

More of winning mentality than leao, but leao hows more tools to work in his toolkit "with the right mentality"

Every time he is free on the left, pass to him, wonder will happen.
Not sure why Theo always ignores him in those situations, only benacer pass to Hauge

He's 21.

Edit: Oh you meant that at 17 you can learn to be aggressive but at 21 not so much. Maybe, but he does have quite a few issues like you said that need to be worked on. Aggression being one major thing, and also being more confident in trying things besides the one or two moves he keeps repeating.
