OFFICIAL STATEMENT: PIETRO PELLEGRI
The Italian forward has signed a contract with the Rossoneri
AC Milan is delighted to announce the signing of Pietro Pellegri from AS Monaco FC on a temporary loan basis, with the option to make the deal permanent, which becomes an obligation if certain conditions are met.

The player will wear the number 64 shirt.

Born in Genoa on 17 March 2001, the young forward made his Serie A debut on 22 December 2016, at the age of 15 years, during the Torino v Genoa match.

Pellegri made 33 appearances in Serie A (nine), Coppa Italia (one), Ligue 1 (22) and the French Cup (one), scoring a total of five goals (three in Serie A and two in Ligue 1).

Welcome! No better mentors than to learn from Ibra and Giroud given his physique.

Hopefully they won?t, but they will not keep both Pellgri and Columbo

Why not?If both Pellegri and Colombo did well this season the management will keep them both.Did you forget last season when they sign Tonali even when we already have arguably 2 best midfielder in Serie A, Kessie and Bennacer? This management is ambitious you know but off course at the same time they won't spend a mega money for supertar players. At least not for the next 2 or 3 years..

Pellegri was once the young suprise of Italian football, then he lost 3 years in France. If he stays fit I think he’s perfectly suited for our pressing game as he’s physically very strong and aggressive. Hope he comes good here…

Is he considered more talented/promising than Colombo?

Not anymore… but when he first burst onto the scene scoring goals in Serie A at 16 for Genoa, absolutely. If he can stay relatively healthy for a season he should be able to get into some form in training and could be more useful than Giroud in terms of our style of play.

Imagine the tears on Pellegri's face when he visits R&B and finds out that there haven't been enough posts for more than one page.

He probably won't be getting much better chances than this to make a difference. Ibra will probably play 90 minutes as usual but if we're winning (hopefully) then he might bring on Pellegri. or conversely, if we're losing and desperate, Pellegri might be an option to crowd the box. In any case, we will probably see him during the game at some point. I don't think Pioli likes him though.

Giroud has scored but he is annoying me. Pellegri should get matches soon.

Nah, he's a cnut. Beefed with everyone during the game. Dunno if its official rumour ("sources from club") or observation during the game, but he has attitude problems.
