One thing is for sure, a World Cup without me is nothing to watch so it is not worth while to wait for the World Cup

Even #Ibra is devastated that @Ibra_Official didn't qualify for the @FifaWorldCup in #Brazil

fenemono's club form wasnt particularly good, the dude was godlike though. ronaldo or cdot, well injury excuses or not, fenemono never managed to win many titles while playing club football, which makes me lean towards cdot more, besides I am probably being biased here cuz cdot is one of my favourite players. cdot is still 28 btw, so he is on course to win a couple more la liga titles I reckon. fenemono played against stronger defenses, so its hard to tell who really was better, but winning the world cup with brazil back then is a lot easier than leading a mediocre portugal to glory now especially when spain are playing like invincibles.

I do agree to an extent that titles and recognition defines you amongst others - even Michael Jordan said so.

But in saying that, Ronaldo > CR7.

True, all true. So i guess to each their own? Personally i find it easier to compare ronaldo vs ibra than ronaldo vs r9 because aside from when he was at milan,i didnt pay much attention to him unlike with ronaldo and ibra.
Maybe the discussion is over, and I don't agree with much you written. But saying that it's easier to compare Ronaldo vs ibra is so not right. At least r9 and Ronaldo are about speed. Ibra is all about strength. For me, you can't really compare ibra, Ronaldo or messi to each other, they are different type of players, to compare them is kind of unfair. They all master some skills on the top level, there is stuff that ibra can do that Ronaldo can just dream about, and the same applies to ibra vs those two.

You seem to have a boring view on football, saying that stats are everything, but stats are always been taken out from bigger picture, and been wrongly used. Like you done here totally in my opinion. Also saying that Ronaldos job is to score goals and he is greater on it than R9 is strange...since mostly ppl are getting tired of messi and Ronaldo goals. But R9, ronaldhinio, ibra are more unpredictable type of players, entertainers. They did their job in a more entertainer way imo. I want a striker to do his job, to score the goals when they are needed, but I want them to do it in a joga bonito way. That is what football is all about for me at least, to be entertained.

Now if we use your method, if you would swap ibra and cr7 with each other, would you think that Sweden or Portugal would win? You don't think that ibra can score just as good as Ronaldo if the chances would come up? These are pro players, it's not about the finishing for them anymore, it's about the hole picture, the hole team and possibilities. I think that ibra can score in more difficult situations. Let me now give you some stats, compare ibras chances and finishes to Ronaldo's in this two games. Who was the most effective player?. For example, I don't think Ronaldo would dominate Serie a like ibra, ibra did that mostly because of his strength, Serie a is more defence oriented league.

Ronaldo was totally closed and did not impress me in the first game, he is a great player because he works hard and never gives up, so he scored a goal in the end. In the return at friends arena, ibra scored two goals against some of the worlds best defenders (and they where in front of him), in both games he managed to win most of his duels. While Ronaldo scored goals thanx to great assist, huge open space and against defenders that are the worst that Sweden had in generations. These central defenders have played three games total together I think. Actually Swedens biggest problems during the group stage has been the defenders. When they defended and where in the right side of the ball in the first half, Ronaldo missed a lot and got frustrated in both games. But I do not take away the beautiful goals he scored, he is the best in the world at speed and counter attacks.

So consider the teams, the managers, the players teammates when you mention you're stats, because everything else would be bullshit.

Football is a job, so let see it this way, some people have a harder job than others, ibrahimovic had the same goal as Ronaldo, but he had a harder job, nobody can deny that. And he still did so great. Companies compete every day with other companies, but some are more successfull since they have better teams, leaders and employees. Some gets big as apple, some end up like blueberry.

Anyway, i really wanted too see those three in wc, since i never wanted any of them out. They all deserve too be there cause they are top 3. Wc will be a little bit boring without ibra, and it feels like he never got a real chance in his career. We will miss him.

taking sweden thus far as in to the kock out stages itself is a great achievement imo. ibra is an all time great but cronnie is just more effective when it matters most.

I agree, specially after losing all senatores
Balo would have still come, and Cassano would have stayed

they play very well - most definitely the dark horses of UCL contenders since they got the exp now.

And the crowd is pretty damn good.

But it looks as if they will have a tight schedule coming up, hopefully Ibra won't get injured.

EDIT: Ibra got tagged for second time!!! Will he take the penalty again?

And he did 4-0 :proud: such a beast IBra!
