The stream service went down just before the second goal, i had to keep up with the game on twitter, Morata scores and i went nutts screaming at my phone, and im never with my phone, my wife saw and starts to screaming too.. she thought i won the lottery or smt... then i said "Morata scored.." then she told me to shut up and not scandalize the house.

The service came back minutes later, without the narrators, only with the sound of the field, which was amazing, at the end of the game the narrators came back i hate narrators, only the italians in the seria A stream, cuz they work solo and I don't understand a word they say.

Today was a great day for us. We're back.

Superior clubs always try to play their game so we get to disrupt them. Smaller clubs in Serie A have only one goal against us and that is to not let us play our game. Serie A is obsessed with 1v1 marking and most of the smaller clubs do that very well. Serie A clubs do not play to score, they play to not lose. I must admit Serie A can be very suffocating and painful to watch.

I genuinely don't see amazing Leao defensive effort here, which is what is supposed to be the problem.

Maybe a little more than against Parma, but, he's keeping his position high up to be an outlet, he's been our source of danger and has stretched Real out.

I've noticed that Leao, Theo, and Tiji are holding back from sending through balls to the player running down the left flank. I think we want to confuse them, honestly.

The defensive effort stuff is bogus stuff to the media

Fonseca just wanted to send a message to him to put in more effort or wake up his idea

That’s fine by me except when he does in big games like Napoli where we should always play our best players.

But I’m not gonna complain that he decided to play our best players in CL at least, Pioli use to prioritise the big Serie A games over CL during group stages and that rattled me.

With Fonseca, it seems the opposite.

All my friends including a Juve fan and a Liverpool fan were ignoring their own matches and watching Madrid-Milan because they believed ours was a super UCL final! That by itself gave me a sense of pride. The result, and better than that, the way we played was even a greater joy. The whole world saw how great Milan can be.

Now, the biggest challenge for Fonseca is to maintain the same hunger and mentality for the rest of the season. I really hope he can do that, because I am not a fan of changing coaches so frequently.

Just seen we've got Slovan Bratislava next; the whipping boys of UCL so far.

Then Red Star and Girona at San Siro, followed by an away trip to Dinamo Zagreb.

These are all fodder teams. The 3 points yesterday was fundamental to our UCL campaign.

What a night this was.....im so proud...finally going chest first on my friends in such a long time. Most of my friends are barca, real, bayern, lpool and some bvb fans...everybody watched us last night...everybody saw us on one of the biggest stages showing up an amazing game. Not only we won ..but we DESERVE IT. Not a fluke 0-1/1-2 where we got raped and got 2 lucky goals...we were actually ballin.

Feels like its been so long since we DOMINATED and actually played amazing passing patterns game...we always tried to go from MM with short passes and not long passes and then pray...amazing felt so proud.
I had a fear the game would be like Lever 1st half where we cant string 3 passes and we get run over...but man we DID NOT.

CL campaign 6p out 12 ..not bad considering the fixtures and who we got left..(real and inter have a really harder time to get points in the next games imo for example).
Also (considering we win at Bologna) only 5p away from 1st in Serie A is also not tragic at all...we can still have a great season.

Grazie ragazzi...enjoy this win..you guys deserve it..but now full focus on Cagliari because that game is really important before the break and it really freaks me..
