Milan-Empoli, ongoing negotiations for Saponara: the situation

Meeting at the headquarters in Milan and Empoli. Talks began between the two companies, now it is, with Milan he has in mind the goal Riccardo Saponara. The gem is already half of Parma, the relationship between club are great and now you're trying to figure out how to anticipate Juventus and Inter. This is the idea of Milan, since the other two have already taken big steps to Saponara in recent months.

There are far too many to name past & present
Kind of Kaka-esque in places

at least he is very talented, has scored 8 goals for Empoli so far and a couple of assists he plays as attacking midfielder/winger for them. very good signing.

He is our's. It was clear though, when Galliani AND Braida meet the manager + president of Empoli for hours it's about their best piece and it's really serious and not about a Primavera-Player or something like that.

After El Shaarawy Galliani beat Inter and Juve again in the hunt for one of the best talents in Italy.

What is his position?

He plays Lw-Rw-Am , a bit like kaka. He really reminds me of a young kaka.Great pick up by Galliani. El shaarawy down the left , Niang in the middle, Ricky saponara in the middle Am , Bojan on the right .... NIce.

Would have liked to see him in Parma rest of the season than in Serie B though.

But nice investment

Same thought when watching the video. Not only the way of running but also of dribbling. It was kind of scary.

don't compare him to kaka

from what i've seen he plays almost purely wing... and mostly right wing. Very comfortable there, crossing and cutting in scoring

comparing him to kaka will lead to dissapointment. If he can be a good RW, to balance El Shaarawy it's good. We could use that

Just bring him in right now and replace Nocerino. Can't be worse.

different positions.... i happen to think Nocerino would do well with him.

He's comfortable dribbling on right, and crossing, low or high, getting ball in dangerous areas.

Bit like a Man utd style winger, if you will....

So are we getting him in the summer? That's another 3 mil right? Forget Zaccardo, Parma can have Mesbah for other half of his card

Doesn't look like a winger to me from that YT video. Well, maybe he is.

lets say i've seen him for u21s... and both times he was more in like a 4-4-2 winger position (maybe 1 time it was a 4-3-3) and he was good at it... very good

but yeah, he's young.... young playes are hardly 'set' in terms of position

Empoli game I watched he was playing as trequartista behind two strikers. Moved a lot though, drifting both sides and making runs to the box
