i think its stupid and unfair, they already punished roma enough this season for that same reason...they banned mexes, they fined roma.. what more do they want!

Maybe a caring club - such as Milan, could step in and provide Kuffour with somewhere to ply his trade for the forthcoming campaign, no? And Roma could pay 90% of his wages whislt Milan take care of their player. Seems like a good deal to me.

It's very unfair for Roma. They had enough nightmare last season and trying to prove themseleves worthy of scudetto contender again. I guess the transfer of Kuffour and Nonda are off.

More than that, they can't sell Cassano to Juve while they need the money to buy new quality players and calm down Totti.

I guess the only good thing for me is that Cassano won't be joining Juve. Sorry for being so selfish....

Unfair, Mexes got banned for 6 weeks, and they had to pay Auxerre(if I'm not mistaken) that was enough, there are pretty much worse things with football teams that don't get that punishment by FIFA.

More than that, they can't sell Cassano to Juve

They actually can, being block from the market only prevents them getting players, which IMO is even more unfair, 'cause Cassano will be needed by the team if they can't buy anybody, but Cassano can live whenever he wants.

It's a very harsh punishment considering they already were penalized for the Mexes affair. Since Roma's management is so incompetent and always seem to screw things up, maybe FIFA is doing them a favor by banning them for a year. This way, Roma can save the money they would have wasted!

But I think Totti will still play in Roma even if they're relegated. He's too much in love with Roma and he won't be able to walk in the city if he transfers to another Italian club (especially Juve).

Actually, the ban is not on their acquisitions. They just cant register them with Fifa. So they could end up not being able to register them.

That'd only b fair, considering Roma's situation. However, i guess they'd b pretty decent next season, wt with Spalletti an' all...Lets see..

If thier appeal fails does that mean that Juve cant buy Cassano? If so there is maybe a benifit for Milan as a bad situation at another club could weaken our main rivals Juve.

Juve already have enough firepower in their attack, though not comparable to that of Milan, but quite considerable. If the ban is lifted, u can bet Moggi will bring Cassano in, and if it isn't lifted, rest assured he'll get another good one. The guy's so cool!

Thats cos they stayed the same. No new real additions really. Plus golden boy's head got too big. Everybody's improving, u cant afford to stay still. Look at palermo and udinise.
