Of course you have nothing to say after a humiliating draw vs shit Thiago Motta.
It's a shame Pioli didn't personally score the penalties himself, yes.

52 points after 24 rounds.
Same as in 2021 and 2022.

An ordinary tally for Pioli's Milan.
But the joint highest points after 24 rounds since 2004.

It's nice that we are earning the same points as the team of Salad and Messias.

150m well spent :proud:

I hope inter respects our consistency and hands us over the second star.

Yeah, same points as the Salad-Messias team that got us the 19th.
5 points more than last season.

Most of those 150m(?) were well spent indeed.
We've lost many starters since Pioli's first years. Many of them for free.
Luckily that was put to an end last summer when Tonali's sale alone covered more than half of the purchases.
Our transfer net spend was probably less than 50m.

I hope inter respects our consistency and hands us over the second star.

If Inter had any self-respect, they wouldn't pretend to be this close to getting their 2nd star (2006).

It's nice we're earning the same amount of points as Ibra, Pato, Pirlo, Seedorf, Dinho, Nesta, Robinho, KPB, Abbiati & the team of the mid-00s.

TO BE FAIR! Serie A 2024 is not Serie A of 00s, there's a distinct difference in terms of competition.

So, by your logic, today's Inter is better than Ibra's Scudetto team and the Milan of mid-00s?

Comparing points of teams that are decades apart means fuckall.
Serie A is completely different now.

That's funny considering it's exactly what you were doing.

I wasn't. I was replying to another Pioli apologist who was doing it. 52 points apologist squad.

Do I also need to lift the "sarcasm" sign up for you? 🤦

You quoted me.

Why would I think you weren't responding to me when your post was relevant to mine? :yikes:

Nah, we're earning more points than the Allegri/Ibra team.
Also more points than all the Carlo years except 2004.

Today's Inter is most definitely better than the Ibra 2011 team.
The 2020 and 2022 Pioli Milan editions were also better than the 2011 flat track bully.
The Carlo sides were rulers of Europe, but struggled on flat track except at Sheva's peak.

Anyway, if I recall correctly, you were also a low quality troll back then, targeting Ibra with dumb takes which even I as an Ibra hater had to distance myself from. But I guess that's just your shtick. Target the main man responsible for our success, with shit criticism.

11/12 squad was the flat track bully. We dominated the top 7 in 10/11. Besides Roma, we beat everyone at least once and did the double over inter. We had several dominant 4-0 wins that seasons. We just drew too much.

10/11 was essentially two different sides.

One was AC Ibra. Champagne football against minnows.
Strangled by Tottenham, Ranieri teams and a shitty Jube side.

The other one all grinta and experience Senatore FC that grinded out wins against minnows and collected clean sheets like a hoarder. And occasional joga bonito from Pato, Binho and Cassano. The veterans were drained by the time of the Roma 0-0 game and Ibra's comeback.

The timing of Ibra's suspensions was good and probably crucial for the Scudetto, but that was anything but a complete team. It was more like two halves.

If that season was one of two halves, 21/22 was one of the last few weeks. 10/11 Milan were in control the entire season, pretty much led the table for the whole campaign with little resistance while if inter beat Bologna with their game in hand in 21/22, they would’ve been champions.

This season is more competitive than both though. I don’t like comparing points tallies against yourself from past seasons, it’s more relevant to compare opponents points tallies as there are different trends every season. In one season, you can win the league with barely above 80 points whereas another season you may need close to 100. It’s not about comparing yourself against yourself to gauge where you’re at but against other title contenders in that specific season.

I described the team as two halves, not the season.
The season was very good from start to finish, but the team didn't look complete at any point. And by point I don't mean one game.
AC Ibra and the senatore team were seriously flawed but the timing of Ibra's suspension spared us from their worst sides(unlike the following season).

The 21/22 team that started the season was also very different from the one that finished it.
It was a far more solid and balanced team by the end. A more reliable team than the 2011 teams.

There's obviously more than just points tally in the league that needs to be considered when doing a serious comparison between teams from different season. That's why I just compared the 2011 and 2022 Scudetto winners, and consider 2020 as the best one of the last 15 years without even mentioning their points tally.

But 52 points after 24 rounds is a very high points avg regardless of anything.

You are right.
Inter are better - they have a coach. And they are breezing to Scudetto even after selling players.
We don't have a coach and we suck after invsting 150M.

Yeah it looks like Limone and Cuckoglu will finally get to know how this feels soon.

Pioli always do the oposite that he should do in moments like this.

You enter with your big guns, make the score and then administrate, you can't put the big guns as firemans, the subs gets frustrated, the starters get frustrated, what he do is a no win situation, its dumb, plus, the starters could have be resting from the 45' or even earlier in the first half, instead, they are pissed frustated and tense for been there fighting a fire until 95'.
Pioli strikes again. Monza 4 x 2 Milan.

No further comments are needed.
