really? "slanted eyed kebab" is what got the ban hammer?

it was clearly meant as a joke ("kebab" was supposed to be the hint), there are other, more offensive words towards asians which could be used as insults, which i haven't used and if an asian person were to be offended he could've replied to the post and i would be the first to apologize

nevermind the fact that race based jokes have become a common occurence here ("black baresi") and racist comments towards muslims/blacks/whites are nothing rare, so if everything is allowed there's no reason why i should have been banned

also nevermind the fact that antisemitic comments is also a thing of the norm here, while some forum mvp has directed to me personally "calm down jew", while the other mvp posts a photo with antisemitic sentiments in the rumor commode, tags me, and adds "it's just as a joke".

I really don't care about it and don't report (have reported in the past with no consequences) since it's a fucking online forum and we're all anonymous, only reason i brought it up is since it's "my corner of the world" in regards to race and such. the selective cherry picking regarding bans here is something else.

or i guess veterancy in the forum will get you an option to post racist/offensive material with no repercussions, too bad that that's the culture

@Qaas much respect :thumbsup:

Wtf me and @Altafini down voted every single posts of each other. I didn’t want to do it but out of principle I had to do it. I respect that man

Since then I give him star wherever I see his posts.
I have an 80 year old (@ForzaMilan2 ) following me around now facepalming my extremely thoughtful and well crafted posts.

I offered him free 21st century IT service to update his software but his pride took a hit because apparently he and his scribes used to write binary on papyrus.

I feel sad. :head: How i make him whole again brother?

God-lod (rip) :proud: hope the brother is in peace. 🕊️

I really like papasmurf's stories from the old days. His walls of text are more readable. And RnB should be more tolerant and inclusive to all ages.
Genders as well but @MilanMB made sure that will never happen.

I shall give him a few stars and brighten up his day than retort with a facepalm arms race.

Calling a person of Asian descent “slanty-eyed” is uncontroversially racist for most civilized people. Note that also doesn’t depend on if a user on the board asked you for an apology.

I am going to assume you aren’t being disingenuous and engage with the rest of the post. The substantive part of your post suggests that others indulge in worse behaviour. They do, and they have been banned in the past. I can’t be on top of every post, so when/if they’re reported mods act accordingly.

Ultimately, you were banned for 2 days or so. Maybe the initial length of the ban was harsh. I’ll admit that. You are generally a good poster, and I am confident you will use better judgement in the future.

it's not about the length of the ban, if i said something disgusting that offended most if not all forum members, or directed a racist insult towards a specific poster then i would accept a permaban as well.
as i said, race based jokes is not a rare thing in the forum and the insult itself was not directed as a specific poster but to a player which isn't even a milan one, and was said in jest. if it wasn't in good taste i understand but similar things are said and do not end up in a ban.
so i'm to guess that my post has been reported while the others weren't, since the mods can't traffic every post as you said? i'm just looking for consistencies.

as for the 2nd sentence im obviously not being disingenuous since i gave literal examples without naming names as to not throw people under the bus (never mind that both posters volunteered themselves and replied). in my opinion it's more ban worthy when it's directed at a specific poster rather than a general sentiment.

Sheva, would it be the same if I told someone “calm down asian” or “calm down xyz” (xyz=physical description of race in derogatory way)?
So sensitive…how long was that ban, 48 hours?
Calm down pal

in case you're not trolling then yes, singling out someone for their race/ethnicity is indeed racist/antisemitic.

also, come on, it's not like it's an isolated incident. it's only since it's connected to the mein fuhrer, interesting comments about the singer family, and blondi is a good dog posts that in total paints quite the picture.

lets move on and start talking about the 2-3 posters wishing death and harm on Milan players/leaders that will be banned shortly

sorry someone said that to you bro.

I didn’t take the slanted eye joke as offensive and always found you pleasant but I understand the reasons for this decision. Hope we can move past this and enjoy R&B

They are standing in protest of Gerry firing Maldini (and Massara leaving).

But why such lengthy bans ffs
Everyone knows that this forum has been bought out by redbird and the moderators are all on their payroll.

Read between the lines, Gerry wants a tech-savy team to operate everything Milan related, this means controlling the fan forums and unfortunately for the fallen soldiers they are just another cog in their machine of mass control.

Just reposting my suggestion here before it's lost in the commode.
In honour of our Presidente, wouldn't it be a nice gesture to (at least temporarily) lift the bans of our fellow RnB members, so we can all revisit our glory days together?
It would be nice to have our RnB family united in this time. Instead of fighting over the mercato we should celebrate Berlu's achievements with Milan.

I am so annoyed by all the defamatory comments about RedBird, Cardinale and the other officials.

We should consistently punish any form of denigration, insult and defamation of our players and officials as well as our owners with a ban.

We adjust and balance the overall vibe. When it gets too much, we stop, adjust and go. We are not meant to be a 100% serious discussion forum. It has no future.

Are we allowed to post pictures of Furlani and Cardinale? Or will their lawyers complain? Asking for a friend @Congo Powers.
