We can only hope this is the course of the future. After Brahim returns to Madrid, I see Daniel wearing that #10![]()
What the fuck is this shitScew all y'all Maldini nutknoblers
At this point I'd rather have zanetti as SD than another dest-origi-pellegri tier si
We should sacrifice Leao if we receive anything close to 100m. That would help to patch up other areas where we need to find better players.
Since we are so poor, we cannot act like we have the luxury of keeping our top players if good offers arrive for them. We should avoid the situation where players run down their contracts at all costs. We need to act like a Benfica or Ajax, until we cement our place in the UCL and we develop our brand with the new stadium and etc.
If we receive offers for players for more than 1.5x their market value then we should take it. A part of our budget should be invested in developing our youth academies and improving our scouting network. Keep this up for a few years and we should be doing great on thr long run.
No way? Srsly?
Sacrificing your game winner and best player only makes sense if you have competent, pragmatic management. When Juventus sold Zidane, they got Buffon and Nedved and kicked everyone’s ass in Serie A. Do you REALLY think that 100 would be invested properly…or will we get 5 Vranckx and Gerry pockets the rest?We should sacrifice Leao if we receive anything close to 100m. Who was he supposed to bring with that money?
A complete waste of 2.6m?At least not sign Messias man.
I know it’s a difficult situation for him with the lack of budget, I even understood why he signed Origi even if it sadly didn’t turn out well so far, but signing Messias was a complete blunder on his part. A complete waste of money.
But they were given 50m net spend. For Serie Ass standards, that isn’t too low. The issue is that our directors don’t know how to sell a player. If we can actually sell players, we’d have more funds to buy players in the Mercato.Or maybe Gerry is a stingy fuck. Or maybe he spends 500m in the summer.
We'll see come the end of the season. But by then it may be too late if we fall out of top 4.
The money he was given was not enough. However, it's also true that he got the MOST money out of all the Serie A teams to spend last summer. Napoli had to sell in order to buy. The 50 million Maldini got was the most given to any sporting director in Serie A. Just saying.Who was he supposed to bring with that money?

If we only managed to sell all of Hakan/Donnaruma/Kessie/Romagnoli, how much money would have we gotten to actually invest in the market? And apparently the winter budget was what, 18m and Maldini wanted to go all out on Zaniolo? An injury prone player with awful stats, 2 ACLs and a shit attitude? If I’m Gerry I’d not be convinced if our management are making the right calls with the budget.
Origi has been a total fiasco so far, if by end of this season he doesn’t improve, sell next season. No need to be sentimental or ‘wait’ out, just sell. Sell sell sell. That’s what we need. Maldini is clueless in this department and is hurting us, big time.
Around 30-35 mil net spend! They sold Hauge for 12-14 mil and got a cut from Paqueta's sale to West Ham (sell on clause ).
exactly...no real big change in your 4-3-3 compared to what we currently operate. There are already 3 mids in 4-3-3. The RW can drop back to make it 4 mids when defending. Leao can stay upfront with the striker.
Fair dues but among Serie A teams, we were the highest this season, right?
Or more probably, you lose him for freeSacrificing your game winner and best player only makes sense if you have competent, pragmatic management. Better one working cannon than a broken Arsenal
A crappy finished player on massive wages. He really offers nothing for a team that wants to be competitive in Europe. What's wrong with signing Florenzi btw, not even that he is a household name, but he can also go on the lists, is versatile (also one of the few great long shot takers) and that for like 4,5m a year total cost.
You forgot the part where he NEVER FUCKING PLAYSWhat's wrong with signing Florenzi btw, not even that he is a household name, but he can also go on the lists, is versatile (also one of the few great long shot takers) and that for like 4,5m a year total cost.
500 million italian lira maybeThat 500 (if he has it) is going to buy a share of Liverpool![]()
No matter wot, players shud never down tools. We already knew they were bad players... now we learn they are also bad men.AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has been accused of losing the attention of his players after the defeat against Inter in the derby last night.
Daniele Longo’s piece for Calciomercato.com describes Pioli as the ‘great loser of the Milan derby’ because ‘the players no longer follow him’ and the head coach had already decided with his line-up that the ‘first major objective had to be to avoid a goal conceded’.
Instead of trying to persist with an identity that won him the Scudetto last season Pioli totally surrendered his principles and instead just hoped to be able to stop the opponents, which is ‘an unacceptable attitude for a team that must proudly defend the tricolor sewn on their chest’.
It is obvious that there will be some defeats in high-level games against other good teams, but to ‘accept surrender without a fight’ is wrong.
Longo goes on to add that Leão starting from the bench for the second straight game cannot have a technical explanation because the Portuguese winger proved to be the only one able to affect the game with his qualities.
The feeling is that Pioli is also ‘experiencing a difficult moment in the management of his group’, which is shown the the ‘lack of desire to fight of some leaders such as Theo Hernandez’. A turning point must come now, or a definitive goodbye to the Champions League places will follow.

We got him for free after all, we can earn profit on him. Messias is useless for our team, sell. You’re not gonna use Adli? Loan or sell.
Sell sell sell. That’s what we need. Maldini is clueless in this department and is hurting us, big time.
Yup - Adult contentNo way? Srsly?
Thats what i dont get. Like 2 months ago everybody was happy, we were playing good and the atmosphere seem positive. 2 months later and i hear those clowns “going against their head coach” while forgeting half of them would never be near their level without Pioli or Milan. Like you make a lot of money and all you need to care about is focusing on your football bc you are already the champion of Italy and you want to take the next level..well our players are doing the opposite giving those cunts of inter the chance to make fun of them. They dont get the fact that they are only embarassing themselves..not Pioli, Maldini or Milan. Players come and go but nobody is replaceable. I get the hate Pioli gets but i have to much respect for his work and for Maldini’s with the budget and players they had that im starting to hate the players more than anything for this pussy attitudeNo matter wot, players shud never down tools. We already knew they were bad players... now we learn they are also bad men.
Yeah, Maldini supposed to pull 100 million out of his own ass to cover the losses that Milan produces because of over a decade of neglect... And then pull out another 100 million from somewhere to buy some players...
Milan have been very reliant on increases in capital from their owners with over a billion Euros provided since 2010 to cover the club’s substantial losses. That includes €545m from Elliott in the last four years, though they only needed to inject €5m in 2021/22.
Analysis by Swiss RambleIn fact, looking at the amount of owner funding in the 3 years up to 2021 (defined as share capital plus owner loans), no club in Europe received more funding than Milan’s €540m, which was well ahead of Juventus €298m and Chelsea €296m.
In Paulo's eyes, it's like a new signingWe can only hope this is the course of the future.
Pep will have a heart attack when he hears the transfer budget Red Bird would offer him.Its time to snatch Pep, get us a real bald coach for once
