TBF, jury is still out. If he doesn't make Top 4 with this squad (or win the CL by some incredible alignments of the stars), I think his position must be questioned.

Besides, there's nothing wrong with changing mind and being open to new ideas and concepts or admit you were wrong.

That being said, even if we were to fire Pioli this summer, nothing takes away from the incredible stuff he's done with the team. Going from the 5:0 defeat to Atalanta to win the Scudetto in two years with a team many didn't even consider Top 4 puts him in the top 3, at least top 5 of best coaches Milan ever had. Pioli is on fire is already iconic. He's such a classy man that doesn't embarrass the club like most other coaches in Italy. Truly epic bald man. I'm not gonna change my Avatar anytime soon.

Regardless whether Pioli stays or not until the end of the season, Pioli will always have my respect, admiration and I will look into his tenure fondly. He gave us the Scudetto and is one match away from making us reach our first SF since 2007.

There are different type of managers, some are good at developing players abilities, some at group and man management, some can read the game tactics, some are motivational... etc.

Pep belongs to the player development category. If you play under him you will certainly improve. His reading of game situations is not the best however.

Carlo is my favourite because he is the most well rounded coach. His main flaw is that he is unable to motivate his teams often enough to win many league titles but even at that he is pretty good.

I love him, bro. He’s not far off from developing into a 10G 10A player, especially since he appears to play much better at RW.

Re Alesi, it's difficult to gauge his ceiling but he's a lovely player to watch on his day. I think he can become a good, solid Serie A midfielder as a minimum (which means he should be good enough for a backup role at Milan). Very happy with his renewal.

I've said this before but I think all Pioli needs is a better coaching staff around him. He's probably one of the best man management coaches around, but it seems like he lacks in the technical department. Headhunt some coaches from Portugal etc., give them some nice salaries and let them cook with Pioli as the top man. It might just be that we don't have the players, especially when it comes to breaking down low block defenses. But it definitely seems like sometimes the players don't really know what to do when we're in possession.
