@ROSSONERI7 says, Pioli prefers players with skill sets tocreate something out of nothing be it dribbling, long range shooting, or converting low % chances overall. He doesn’t see Adli as useful as what he offers on offense won’t really add much considering people are standing around and defensively ranks him the worst out of all of our midfielders (probably rightfully so).
With our current set up, and us being pretty desperate for points to maintain in a CL spot, Pioli is going to go with players that give him the most guarantees. I understand every single point Sam makes about why Adli would make us better, but it doesn’t fit with what Pioli has done in his selection so far as I mentioned earlier.
