I wasn’t too impressed with Vrancxx frankly. Pobega was far better than him and is rightfully 4th choice ahead of him in the midfield. I see it now.

Nothing Vrancx showed today proved to me that he deserve more than Pobega. Playing Baka over him was weird. Pobega was not.

At some point we might have to consider reducing Pioli’s blame on the signings and admit they actually suck, are garbage and can’t play well. New signings are Dest, CDK, Origi, Vrancxx, Thiaw and Adli.

Dest, Origi, CDK all straight up garbage so far. Vrancx also not too good. That’s 4 out of 6 which are BAD. Thiaw is the only good signing so far and we all agreed Pioli made a mistake in overlooking him but he finally did in late January. Just before our CL knockout games so it wasn’t that that late.

The Adli treatment is the most bizarre one but we have to admit that whatever limited playing time he got, he didn’t set the world on fire either. But again, his treatment is the one I can’t defend Pioli on. Too extreme.

Pioli has his flaws, undoubtedly. The SS at CAM obsession in particular was irritating. Playing Diaz at CAM instead of RW, constantly insisting on a 2 man midfield or Messias/Saele as the RWs.

But the management did not do him any favours at all. Pioli has given CDK more than enough chances, too much if anything. He hasn’t delivered yet. The other signings are also not good enough. Dest is straight up garbage. The management are also to be blamed for this disaster league campaign. Mike was also gone for 5 fucking months and the management wasn’t willing to pay 5m to get Sportiello over the line.

It’s simple, Pioli makes top 4 he stays. Doesn’t then he leaves. But if he makes top 4, then Pioli should deserve much better backing next season. Players that are in line with his system. More experienced ready made players that are actually good, not garbage like Origi.
Aster is getting shit because of his terrible back pass. He ran himself into the ground for his two Belgian compatriots today. So did Pobega.

Vranckx played well, he kept Bologna's midfield quiet and got stuck in. Pobega and Vranckx were there to control the midfield and give a foundation for our attack.

Adli has not been given any time. He looked excellent in preseason. He was one of the few bright spots against Fiorentina, showing a knack for finding the sorts of passes that destroy overloads in opponents pressing. Something we could surely use.

Pioli deserves more blame than the management. The more our new young guys play the more obvious Pioli's misuse of them becomes, whether that's Thiaw or Pobega, it is becoming glaringly obvious that Pioli is the issue here. The complaints about the transfer campaign absolve him of his mismanagement of this squad.

My goodness Pioli has turned Sam against Charles

Even I’m tired of seeing Charles play. Sick of it.

But my biggest gripe with Pioli all season long is his obsession with 2 midfielders. I just wish we could play with 3 midfielders in every single god damn fucking game.

Today we had control with Pobega and Vranckx, Bologna did nothing to us today.

Our attack did nothing, besides get two penalties not given.

Rebic worked his ass off today, to his credit, Sales did too. Origi really annoyed me today, though.

Adli cant be worse than cdk. He only plays him cause hes bought for a lot of money. Lets hope some epl offers 35M for him.

Vrancx offers nothing. I dont see there anything. Hes small, slow, poor decisions, mediocre pass. At least he show some balls and fight compared to origi and cdk.

Man if we ko nipples by some miracle forget about seria a games. We might win 2 games at best out of 8. This level of unprofessionalism s unheard of. From bald fraud to players.
Honestly speaking if somebody offers 28m for CDK this summer we should sell him. That’s what we need to break-even and even though he’ll probably explode elsewhere, I just can’t see him doing that in Italy. Use the money to redeem Brahim and sign Baldanzi as backup instead.

It was his own teammate so yes it is and apparently the racist allegation comment isn’t true so it makes Mane look even more bad for punching him.
who the fuck cares if it was his own team mate?

Mane looks even more bad? you mean he actually looked bad for punching a team mate for calling him a dirty N...??

like i said before, sometimes mfs needs to get smacked, only way for them to learn not to behave like assholes. it doesn't even need to have anything to do with racism... some people are cunts.

and i said sometimes, i don't mean that it's ok to go around and punch people in the face for anything.

The 2nd one wasn't a pen

I was pretty upset about the first one not being called and then I saw Rebic shoot the ball and instead of going toward goal it hit him in the face

After that I wasn't upset

Not a serious player not a serious team

I’m not sure if he goes but I think he should. A lot of questionable decisions by him this season. Not entirely his fault. But he is slow to adjust and makes a lot of poor decisions.

I don’t know what else to say but the last 2 draws are again because of his decisions. He is literally gambling with the project? Believe it or not. A coach has decided champions league is more important than top 4 and if we get knocked out of the champions league and don’t finish top 4, these are a direct consequence of the decisions he made. He absolutely should die on the hill he chose.

And again I say he is literally gambling with our future here. Champions league is knockout and regardless of how it goes down the best team don’t go through. Ref makes one call against you, early red card, wrong penalty call and it can be over. Lest we forget Inter and Madrid/ City? And in his mind he is like this is where I should lay my eggs. Man I don’t know what Pioli is drinking.
You are free to think however you see fit but I think that management thinks more like me. They probably believe that they can reach the semi finals and earn a top 4 finish and considering that there are still 8 games left for the league it was probably wise to rest the starters and had it been for some luck we would have come out with 3 points. I don't think Pioli is conceding the league as you are making it out to be.

Of course, he made some mistakes during the season and you can say that he did not integrate the new players too well. No one is saying that he is the perfect coach, but he is central to our progress and we are still within reach of our objectives, you could argue that we've made progress.

And assuming that Pioli does get booted, can someone suggest a real viable option to replace him? I mean someone who would be willing to leave whoever he is training, and concede his huge salary to coach us with our meager budget.. are there actual names that are better?

It would be nice if people stop bitching after every non-perfect result we get.. enjoy the journey and at the end of the season the management will make the best decision for the club. Nothing you say today will change anything.

Former refs said the second one was a penalty so I dunno what to tell you.

I don't understand how Rebic messing up dissolves anger at penalties not being given.

Who cares if we play like there is the Benny Hill song playing on a loop, penalties are penalties.

Pobega was incredibly today but I disagree on Vrancxx. A lot of people were complaining that Pobega was getting more game time than Vrancxx this season but this game showed that Pioli was right in that aspect. Him being the 5th choice in midfield makes sense to me.

I think he had a decent first half but in the 2nd half he looked a bit clumsy and made some awful mistakes. Maybe he was a bit gassed. But okay even if you disagree with that.

Let’s talk about our 6 new players again.

Dest/Origi/CDK very bad. That’s 3/6. Management fault. For me it’s very clear, management made mistakes with these 3 signings.

Adli mismanaged, Vrancxx you say he’s mismanaged. Thiaw mismanagement for being used earlier. 3/6, Pioli fault in your eyes.

Isn’t it 50-50? Both management and Pioli to blame here?

I didn’t really include Pobega because we didn’t get him this season and I actually think Pioli used him fine outside the period where we were using 3 ATB where he didn’t play at all.

On Adli:

"He is working well, but there are many players in his role. In the end I put Brahim who with his brilliance and one-on-one could win us the game and he was succeeding."

He considers Adli and Brahim for the same position :proud:

One on one ability is essential in todays football…all over the pitch...that's how we won the league...since others hadn't already caught on to the idea.

But it’s beyond me that a coach would think that's all there is to it, and base our whole play on that and nothing else.
especially for a big club like us who is expected of producing a certain level of football.

it's like a pro boxer whose only weapon is his knockout power...and he CATEGORICALLY refuses to learn anything else. fuck footwork, fuck head movement

few years ago, we could that's all we had...years have passed, plenty time to develop a more "quality" type of play has passed. we've acquired new players to be better in possession and build, which will actually enhance our one-on-oners...and yet....

and we're supposed to be satisfied with that?

We have been dreadful in 2023? Lol 😂

You think we shouldn’t complain? I think we have different opinions, but you lost me at people should stop complaining at not every perfect result. Most of the results this year have been way below par and a lot of mismanagement from Pioli etc. forgive us for not being happy all the time.

When do we complain after getting knocked out the champions league or after losing top4?

Being a Milan fan has brought little joy this season aside from the Champions League.

The fact he keeps giving Charles chance after chance despite being laughably terrible is the bigger issue here for me.
Charles playing cam is not getting a chance.

The oldest will always have an unfair advantage over the others so don't overthink it too much.

Vranckx puts in the running with Pobega to support Casper the Belgian ghost and Origi, who did nothing but be an active hindrance.

Dest was an emergency loan because of serious injuries to Calabria and Florenzi in the space of like a week.

Origi looks like a failed gamble. CDK is a RW and Pioli refuses to try him there. Yknow the spot where Brahim looks like a top talent? The spot where he scored against Donna for Belgium. And I don't even like CDK.

Regardless, it's not 50/50, the use of a player is more impactful. Pioli used Gabbia against Inter. Gabbia. Instead of Thiaw. We lost 1-0. On his stupid tactics.

Pobega has done more offensive work than CDK. But he never plays. Why? Vranckx won us the game against Fiorentina, secured a win against Samp when we were down a man, what has CSK done?

I'm sorry, Pioli has been horrible this year. He has the solution in front of his face and he refuses to use it. The formation and player choices I've been begging for... he uses it against Napoli, one of the best teams in the world right now, and he beats them... twice.

Why not use that all the time? He did it against Juve (with Pobega) and then never again. Why?

He has talent, but he refuses to use it.

No you can complain, the league performances this season have been underwhelming.

I prefer to complain when all is certainly lost. I think Pioli will remain next year even if things haven't been great throughout the season.

Two objectives to reach .Semifinal and top 4. Tuesday is the most important match of the season. Also in Seria A no more slips against minnows . Next year Milan must look for oportunity to find better coach.

Did you read what I actually said? Apparently those rumours were made by his COUSIN, to clean up his image, how are they exactly reliable? If Sane said that then Mane would be more justified yes.

But if Sane actually didn’t say that, then Mane obviously looks worse.

And apparently Sane did not say that shit at all.

Read this:

Now tell which source will you believe more? This or his cousin who has an agenda?

Tuchel also came out and said Mane made a mistake and got suspended. Everyone in the club is pointing that Mane made a mistake and not Sane. Which suggests to me that Sane did not say any of that racist stuff.

Based on what I’ve read and all in this case, I think the violence was unacceptable and I think Mane was rightfully punished.
