I remember one poster in particular, but will not name names (and it was more generic about "building dominance" than specific about winning CL).

Again, I do not remember anyone saying "Barca is vanishing", more like their approach to uncontrolled spending will catch up to them sooner or later. FWIW, I also remember pointing out that Catalonia would not allow them to disappear.
Reading comprehension isn't the strong suit of our group.

Would be an embarrassment to Italian football is Roma and Lazio get UCL spots

I agree about Lazio but I disagree about Roma.

They’ve done really well in Europe lately since 2016. CL SF, a couple of Europa League SF, conference title etc. they don’t disgrace themselves in Europe like Lazio does

Call me crazy, insane or stupid, but I’ll be fine take him if they give us 100m for Tomori. I’ll cry but wipe my tears with that money to invest in the midfield and attack. I’ve seen Maguire under Southgate, that’s not a bad defender. In fact it’s a very good one.

Couldn’t care less how badly he does in United in a team that hates him, gets abuse by the fans, doesn’t play in a way that suits him and clown coach like Ole or overrated tacticos like Ten Fraud. A change in environment can work wonders.

I’m not advocating for Tomori to be sold by the way, I like him but some tough choices must be made if a situation is presented.

Still though, I think the best move to Maguire would be team like Roma. Not necessarily us.

Seeing Capello’s quotes in the press, something infinitely pisses me off about him.

Always one of the first to slam us and now all of a sudden jumping on Mike being best gk “on the market”.

If it wasn’t for sacchi he wouldn’t have had half the coaching career he did.

Grazie Torino 👌, Now Milan need to get the 3 points v Lecce. One game at a time one win at a time.

Pioli made Milan champion after 11 years and came close to winning cl (hope win) , play semifinal after 16 years. Grass is always greener on the other side. Arteta was nothing until this year. Maybe this is just a fluke year. Like spalletti. Also get spanked by sporting Lizbon.

Ten hag was very successful with ajax but nothing special with manu.

Pioli is much more successful than arteta and also regarding the club size more successful than ten hag. I can’t even think if pioli get trashed by relegation team Sevilla by 3-0.

If we just check last 3 years and without any sense ask any people just check the results and say the best performer manager in the world for last 3 years if we reach the final pioli will be the best I think.

With a Milan after a horrific decade with low budget

1-He takes in the middle of the season and goes to European cup
2-second year league runner up with half of the team injured, champions league after 7 years
3-third year league champion after 11 years
4-fourth year cl semifinal and probably final after 16 years

I don’t know any manager in the world similar. Mourinho Porto and inter seasons , heynckes Bayern , ancelotti’s last year cl trophy (but with the most winner team of the world not a bunch of young guys) etc

And in This 4 years we never lose a game if it is a do or die game , always win , even didn’t lost a single game (I don’t give a shit about cup games)
Atalanta last game when we go to cl, inter game and last 6 games when go to scudetto , Tottenham and Napoli games both as an underdog. I dont know any team beside Real Madrid which is so successful in do or die games.

These are truths not any subjective ideas. We can’t say pioli is the best but he is the best for Milan , that is sure (you see fucking tuchel, Bayern is losing everything ). There is no any manager in the world we can say he will absolutely be more successful than pioli in Milan. Will the new guy get cl, maybe pioli will in his second participation with the youngest team and lowest budget😂
Well, I wasn't really comparing Pioli to them, just found it funny him shitting on two fantastic managers. For the record, I would take Ten Hag in a heartbeat

I don't really understand why the budget question is relevant, all Italian teams bar Juve have a low budget. Why are you pretending like Milan has some impoverished squad? Mike, Kalulu, Tomori, Theo, Leao, etc. would start for any club in Italy and are among the best at their position in the world. So pretending like he's overachieving with some short-handed squad is a false narrative

You are writing these things like he has already reached the final and won the CL, let's slow our roll a bit

Anyway I have shared my issues with Pioli extensively so I don't feel the need to rehash them

Group stage exits. Losing to united

Barca have gone back to being irrelevant.
And have also gambled and lost any chance of restoring their reputation. At least not for a very long time or super rich owner taking over.

I don’t think Arteta and Ten Hag are fantastic managers just because Arteta had an incredible season this year or Ten Hag for his work at Ajax.

If we use this logic, then we can call Pioli a fantastic manager for his beautiful football in 2020 and winning the Scudetto last season.

Both of them have potential but I feel that we need to see more sustain/consistent success from them before calling them elite.

I think Ten Hag is a great tactician but I’m not the biggest fan of his man-management style. Arteta is somewhat similar. Both of them are worse than Pioli when it comes to rotating and their in-game subs needs work.

We all know how much flaws Pioli has had this season and we gladly pointed it out, yet I think if he achieved this set of results with a PL club, let’s say Arsenal or United with the CL SF, he’d be hyped through the roof

Pobega broke his rib in training. I read a report that it was a compound fracture? If accurate that is a rough injury and he's out for a while. We really could have used him in this stretch.

Ol boy fell off the wagon…beating the players in training again! Hate to see it!!

Guys I’m afraid Ancelotti has found the cure for low-blocks after the intentional break. This is bad news for us because I’d have been more confident vs Madrid should we reach the final if they insisted on their 4-4-2.

FFS, this is awful. Really needed him as the 3rd midfielder. Now Pioli has the perfect excuse to field Diaz as CAM again since we need to rotate one midfielder at least

Pobega is a loss as every player at this stage of the season needs to contribute what they can. It could offer opportunities (albeit forced) for others to step in. Let’s see what they come up with.
