My issue is not with results. Yes result is important but the way we play through the middle. My God. The passing was atrocious. However giroud is largely to blame as well. He is way too slow for this team to operate as CF. If we had say oshimen, Imagine how deadly milan would be.

Coach is responsible for this partly. Well it's either pioli or we just seem to buy injury prone players for some reason. Yet again with rlc and pulisic. Both have a rich injury history.

If Pioli was going to play this low block, it would have been better to have Okafor as striker and Chuk as RW. In the 1st half Leao was the only attacker running fwd with the ball in good counter attacks. He could have combined well with Okafor and Chuk in the counter attacks.

Verona played such a high line today watching Giroud try and navigate that was embarrassing

If you don't want to have intricate attacking patterns ok fine but then at least play your best players

Pulisic is not a fast, counter attacking player. He's a playmaking winger. He's good when the team is controlling the midfield like in the first three games. When playing in a low block, a faster winger is better.

Adli is next in line. But fairly sure it will be Rjeinders that will start there for the upcoming games.

So Musah, Rjeinders and RLC should be our midfield for the next match.

I had mentally pencilled in 10 points max after 5 games when the season started. Points wise, we are doing better than I had thought.

Today, we chopped and changed, including the formation, and we managed to win.

I think Musah and RLC are brilliant additions. So far.

The bad is the derby and the abattoir at Milanello. Injuries continue to plague us. It’s annoying.

It is a given that you get upsets after champions league matches and International weekends. There’s a reason why.

I’m sure you can put 2 and 2 together on why this happens.
