Out for a walk.
I don't understand. Shouldn't we be happy that the fodder players we loan out are doing well? Once again, not everything has to be put at Pioli's feet. Blame him for trying Adli-Bennacer again if it fails, not because Hauge scored a goal on a glacier 4 years after doing absolutely nothing for several different clubs.

All jokes aside the Charles stuff is pretty damning

To think Pioli tried him as an 8 in the summer after a year with him and Gasp immediately saw a CF in him
I always thought he would come here to play as a CF or end up in that position in a few years.

Still, Charles melted so I would say partly Pioli but mostly the player.

I woke up feeling a bit under the weather this morning and immediately blamed Pioli

Yeah but to go into the season planning for Charles to be an 8 because he can't play your catapult ball at CF is pretty insane

Charles wasn't gonna last at the club for sure but Pioli 100% exacerbated the problem and showed his limits

With that kind of games , I am not so sure who will go first .
Surely when Charles scores today, takes off his shirt, sprints the length of the field, and knee slides in front of Pioli

The shame alone will take 10 years off Pioli's life

At this point ADL is just being a Robinhood for these small teams for favors in the future.

Late draw against Cagliari

That's not completely true, you can't just learn how to be a Maldini or Baresi in the back.. it's a gift, just like dribbling is a gift. The thing is Pep is always taking over big clubs where he can spend massively so he is always in the possibility to create a team (especially in midfield and attack) that has a lot of quality (and that can play his typical game of high pressing and choking the opponent that's on the ball). He has always been in the possibility to play this way, because he only coaches the best of the best to start with. Therefore he doesn't need 4 Maldini's in the back to get results, and he is just fine with a guy with the qualities of an Alexander-Arnold who -defensively- has no clue what he's doing, but who is great going forward. That was the case at Barcelona, at Bayern and at City, but in all of them, there was never a backline that took the attention in a positive way. Better: a defensive line that occasionally showed very questionable defending. Or Pep who showed very poor decisions, like at Bayern in 2015 where he played a 3-man defense, consisting of fucking Boateng, Rafinha and Benatia against Neymar, Messi and Suarez . He's an amazing coach and he knows what to do or how to show dominance and play peak modern football, but I'd like to see how his philosophy would work out at a normal club like Fiorentina where he doesn't have the financial strength and where he needs to balance a lot more over the whole squad.

We better hope adli never shaves his head. I can't imagine a world where a bald adli is running around like a destasaurus rex. Surely baldli couldn't be a good player. He's fortunate to have his hair.
