Don't know about others but for me CDK was invisible all game, pretty much the same as he was here.
Or he didn't want to show up and make Milan fans hate him ahead of his return in the summer, under a new manager lol.

Good kid that!

When Juve and Inter get penalties called against them that are invented and their players get yellow cards for looking at refs, I'll agree with you.

We dominated this game.

If we got invented penalties, that would make us even, oh and some deserved second yellows for shit like Scalvini just hitting Leao.

Imagine Leao with the protection Lautaro and Barella and the rest of those mutants get in Serie A.
I think not . We have scored once . If we was dominating we will score at least one more time in the next 90 minutes ahead . We have also a whole half game after the Atalanta goal .

Arrived in time for the match, but unfortunately didn't bag us the win.
When are we suppose to wear this again?

Let’s be honest, Orsato had his mind made up by the time he went to the monitor.

At that point any technicality he was ready to give that penalty.

They also brought up a good point regarding Holm’s simulation. Travesty that an “experienced” ref will likely get away with this shit

Winning a game 1-0 is allowed. City just just beat Bournemouth 1-0. The team tried today. They dominated the game completely. That penalty was a joke.

I'm not going to shit on the team, but if you want to, then let's ask about RLC.

RLC had the worst miss today.

Jovic getting a stupid red hurt us last game and today, and he's suspended another game.

Chuk wasn't seen as someone who can help. Is Tiji injured?

But those are perennial issues, but today? Today the team played well, Pioli set us up well, and we got screwed by a shit penalty. We weren't in danger and we created danger.

The commentary guys here were so confused by that, and the Leao decision... And they usually love to kick Milan when we're down.

That spoke volumes to me at least...

Also not a single Atalanta player reacted for a penalty... More so seeing that pussy of ours fell over again!

Again, very telling...

Of course it is . It is not a matter of to shit on the team . If you are better in the game , you win , you beat them . If not you was not better , so you need to find why . The refer is not an excuse . We just need to score once more but we did not . It is simple . At least in my opinion .

Regarding the penalties , last three games we conceded four penalties . I do not believe that it is because of a conspiracy against us . It is a problem with which we also need to deal .

I think we played well, controlled the game, controlled even the midfield (against Atalanta of all teams!!), had our chances and never gave up. Today I can't be mad at anyone. Ignoring the context of the moment we're in and the youngest results who precedented this game, this was a good display from everyone where luck wasn't on our side.

Orsato with his usual polemic style drew both teams mad. I don't know how this clown is still refereeing on this level. The pen was very harsh if not even non-existent. He didn't even look at the monitor. Reminded me that incident when we had a clear as day pen in our favor and he was called from VAR to look at the screen, then he barely took a glimpse, turned away and literally said to VAR room what the fuck they are even calling him to look for. But that's Orsato. He's a cunt and he loves feeling the most important person on the pitch.

Glad we kept Atalanta at distance. I fully expected to get steamrolled by them, I don't know why they looked so slow and sluggish, maybe Pioli for once came up with an actual game plan who knows

If this game deserved a winner, it was clearly us. I don't think it was Atalantas gameplan to be stuck in their own box for almost the entire 2nd half, barely creating anything even when countering. They looked overwhelmed by us which again, I repeat, is the complete opposite of what I expected this game to be.

Also, did we finally find some balance with parking Adli in front of the defense, shielding the CBs? We haven't looked this composed in a long time. That we didn't create 100 chances like we usually do didn't bother me because usually that always came at the cost of being wide open on the back, resulting in some really frantic defending.

Whatever we did tonight, it seemed to work really well against what is supposed to be the most inform team right now (besides Inter). I'm looking forward to how Luca Diddi will analyze this.

The way Scalvini was nipping at Leao, if that was Thiaw you know damn well it would have been booking after second if not the third time.

How quickly he flashed the yellow was also very telling.

In the end, this fuck prolly thinks he was being fair bc he gave Lookman similar treatment on their team

If you look at a still image, at a single frame, almost every incident will look like a foul because yeah, it's a contact sport, there's always some sort of contact. A referee should always look at the whole image, evaluating the nature and extend of the contact and if it warrants a pen.

I don't think Giroud fouled him penalty worthy, he didn't even touch his head where the opponent thought that was where Giroud hit him when in reality, it was the ball to hit his head lol.

I see what you're saying, and I'm with you. But today? Today, I think the ref made a terrible decision.

If that is a penalty, fine, then give us the same penalties. Ederson just shoved Pulisic, not even attempting to get the ball. That should be a penalty then, too. But it isn't.

Rennes? Monza? I'm with you. Thiaw made a terrible penalty. I'm not saying we only get penalties because of a conspiracy. Kjaer penalty though? That was weak. Jovic was the sort of hand ball I don't like, even when it is in our favor, but whatever.

But look at how often Juve or Inter get screwed over. It's rare.

Look at Scalvini being able to hit Leao over and over and over again. Scalvini didn't get a yellow. You think anyone gets to hit Lautaro Iike that, that often, and get away without a yellow? No way.

You think Tomori gets to hit players like that and not get a yellow? You see Bastoni get the same treatment as Tomori? Tomori got sent off for less against Roma than what Scalvini did today in the span of like 10 minutes, too.

I am no fan of Pioli, I think he's done a terrible job this year. But today? Today wasn't about the players or the setup, it was about the ref being hilariously inconsistent.

Leao gets hit constantly and isn't protected. I'm tired of it.

To build its own stadium, Milan does not need Inter. Those spread by the fanfare of those close to the Nerazzurri are news that should be seriously doubted, aimed at covering the real state of the situation between Inter owners and Oaktree

For weeks, Milan has started important talks with high-level banks to understand the mortgage rates to obtain the financing necessary for the stadium project (among these banks is Meryll Lynch). But with the fact that the next 18 months will be very tough on the stadium matter, it is clear that the club cannot send Sala, San Siro and Inter to hell, with whom we will still have to manage San Siro. Because if for any reason the San Donato project were to implode, Milan cannot risk being left holding the bag.

Arabs: we confirm our line from recent weeks, namely that Milan is not for sale, but it would be crazy not to look to those latitudes to bring new capital into the club with strategic partnerships like the one with the Yankees. This is the state of the art of things.

Also, I forgot to write about Charles because I didn't even know he played tonight. Glad he refound his "play at San Siro, in front of the crowd and with all spot lights on you expecting something special" form. I meant it when I wrote I would take a week's ban if he scored against us.

For now, Atalanta is the perfect club with the perfect coach for him. I don't think he would have developed at Milan and under Pioli. At least we can get our investment back this summer and try to not waste it on another Chuck (sigh).

Yes he did . I am not denying it . Knowing however the rules , referees , gray areas is also part of the game . As well also referees mistakes . In my opinion it was also a mistake of Giroud which is experienced enough even in Italy , to avoid such situations .
I think that part of the answer about Inter and Juventus is actually exactly that . They are using everything which they can ( including such a " gray areas " in rules implementation ) to achieve their goals or at least advantage over the opponents . We need to do the same .

So no one is gonna blame Giroud for being the reason we lost 2 points? 🤔

and to think that you guys just yesterday were saying players don’t get judged based on the skin color

Interesting to say the least

I genuinely believe this is what makes Milan class and others . . . well . . . others. Most international football fans I have met respect Milan because we rarely have had divers and cheaters in Milan. I remember that Theo used to do far more diving in his first year with us. He does not do it so often anymore, although he sometimes exaggerates! I guess Maldini asked him to stop it!

Tonight, we got the confirmation that the kid was too weak mentally to play for Milan. I don't think this guy will ever be able to play for any big club. He can't handle the pressure.

Roger Federer is the GOAT
I’m sick and tired of this soft pens we are getting against us.

3 of our last pens against us are all really soft

And of course Maignan can’t even save one of them. My fucking god, give Tata the same opportunity and he would save at least ONE!

Has it been 10 pens we conceded this season? and he saved NONE!

For a supposedly strong guy rlc isn't using it well enough. His dribbling is good but stamina is poor. He also gets hurt easy

You are his biggest supporter but this comment is beyond silly
I knew it was absurd when I wrote it lol, but the sentiment is correct. I think too many people downplay how misued he was in that midfield position, and it's worth repeating a thousand times- Pioli got a 6'4" CF and tried to make him a 10(-2) or 8(+2). Even more absurd, in hindsight.
