The midfield is good in terms of personnel. It's just unbalanced because Pioli was fixated on the idea that Krunic was a good defensive midfielder.

The midfield needs a very good defensive midfielder and a better coach.

Yes, it's not enough for Pobega. But giving up Chukwueze after just one season seems impatient and premature. Pioli simply doesn't know how to utilise his speed and other qualities.
