I know people laugh at the "balance sheet scudetto" stuff, but thanks to this, we are now OFF THE HOOK 100% with the settlement agreement we made with UEFA effective immediately.

I truly hope this means a solid market in which we sign good players to fit allegri's specific system. Getting back into the CL is clear objective #1, and if the scudetto is possible, then so be it... The league isn't good enough that we can't be contenders...

But objective 1, play good ball and secure CL as early as possible.

We could legitimately have around 200M to play with if these sales go thru... I feel like only one of Tomori or Thiaw will be sold though.

RLC, Musah, Pavlovic, ERoyal, Pobega maybe... and find 2 more vetarans with Modric and go on rebuild with Leoni type of talent or Baturina type of risk.... Svilar or Carnesecchi for GK... that would work...

More a question of loyalty from Italian point of view

They feel that if we have more Italians they would bleed for the club and actually want to stay here and accept lower wages.

And because of familiarity with the league they would compete for scudetto.

But you need to get the top end Italian players for that and they all either are in inter rube Roma or Napoli. None that would sell directly to a competitor unless we pay a premium. And that premium could be counter intuitive given they could use those funds to buy better players themselves.

But we can spend max 60 mil

And if we don’t make ucl next season(we will win the league) we would have to sell again.

We can only incur net 60 mil loss over 3 year period or something can’t remember. We will have to spend big now

They have to because they'll play the CWC in two weeks. I think Allegri will want to evaluate a lot of the current crop before taking definite decisions and that won't happen before mid july.

70M is a failure in what regard?
We got 2 seasons out of him and he's 27, and he's a very good player on his day. Lacks consistency imo, and I don't think his motor is good enough to play midfield for allegri.

I love Reijnders and wish we kept him... But we set up the deal to pay the 10% add-on to AZ on 35M.
